Chapter 15

I woke up and I looked beside me and Peter was asleep the last two weeks have been hard for me. Mainly because Nova Corp said they would do everything the could so Kree and Sovereign couldnt hurt Earth. Though I didnt care I was beyond worried about my family. Now that Jade showed her face enemies could easily take her for revenge. I went to get up when I felt Peter grabbed my arm.

"Stay in bed." Peter says in a sleepy voice.

"I just need some water." I say.

He still put up a fight, but I moved away from him and left anyway. I got out of the bed and I went over to the area where we kept spare small spaceships to travel alone. We never really use then unless we have to transport something and only a few have to go. I just looked out at them when I heard a little Voice.

"I am Groot." Groot says.

"Yeah I am worried, but the Nova Corps will make sure things are fine." I say.

"I am Groot." He says.

"Yes I know they are my family and could be in danger because of me." I say.

"I am Groot?" He questions.

"I cant go. I dont know how to fly alone and I dont think Peter would be to happy about it." I say.

"I am Groot." He says.

"I love you Groot, but that is just to crazy of an idea." I say.

I went to walk away when I heard Groot say something else. Given he only says I am Groot. Though what he just did was called me a chicken. Later in the morning all the others were up and I had Groot's words in my head.

"Jessy, can you please not think about the Kree and the Sovereign. Nova Prime promised if anything changes we will be notified and we will help." Peter says.

"I know. I know. It just worries me." I say.

"Hey we know you feel scared, but we know its must be hard. Though we are all here for you remember that." Gamora says.

"I know. You know what Im still alittle tired. I didnt sleep well last night." I say.

"Well sweet dreams kid." Rocket says.

"Mantis you put her to bed." Drax says.

"Thats okay." I say.

I went to my room and laid down in my bed and I just kept thinking about my family and that guy from awhile back. He was right a message was coming into space and it was my sister. Now she could be in huge trouble.

"Hey Jessy. You alright?" Peter questions.

"Yeah. Like I said Im tired." I say.

"Can I snuggle you?" He questions.

"Sure." I say.

He laid down beside me and started playing with my hair. I took a small nap with Peter and later that night as everyone was actually sleeping. I snuck off into one of those spaceships and went off. Im sorry my Guardians and Im sorry my Starlord, but I have to do this.
