Keira Ross had known Tony Stark for almost her entire life. And, no she wasn't exaggerating in any way. She really had unfortunately been graced with his presence for that long.
Their acquaintanceship went as far back as their high school years were their endless rivalry was legendary in the school they attended. The two of them weren't even in the same grade yet their rivalry still lived on.
Even after graduating, Tony quickly got swept up in his father's business while Keira transferred straight into S. H. I. E. L. D. at a young age, quickly rising up.
Life had become pretty normal for Keira even though she was an S. H. I. E. L. D. agent. She still had her mother and younger sister, Bea to visit.
But it all quickly changed, once Loki had arrived and stolen the Tesseract, sending the sturdy ranks of S. H. I. E. L. D. into chaos.
That was of course where she has reunited once again with the other side of her childhood rivalry as he had arrived with the rest of the 'Avengers' to neutralize the threat.
An unexpected friendship which quickly turned into a relationship had suddenly bloomed between the two previous rivals, even shocking themselves.
Keira suddenly doesn't feel so invisible anymore with the pain that her life experiences had left her with and Tony suddenly has someone to confide in.
But as an S. H. I. E. L. D. agent, it meant that Keira often got asked to do some strange jobs including posing undercover as a girly gym-goer called Kayla in order to keep an eye on one of the Avengers, herself, the shape-shifting eagle, Aquila Cadman.
It was while doing this rather strange undercover mission where the news of her boyfriend's supposed death had spread across the world.
Not too long after S. H. I. E. L. D. fell at the hands of Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, Aquila Cadman, and Sam Wilson as S. H. I. E. L. D. had been infiltrated by HYDRA.
It would have all seemed like too much for most people, but Keira certainly wasn't like most people.
Needless to say, Tony was very much alive and although the fall of S. H. I. E. L. D. had meant that Keira didn't exactly have a job at the moment, she wasn't going to lose her cool yet.
But she had no clue that her life was only going to get crazier.
