Keira wrapped her arms herself in reassurance as she watched Rhodey's body going inside a CT scanner. She had known Rhodey for a ridiculously long time, nearly as she had known Tony himself, and just wanted him to be okay, even though he would never quite be the same again.

"How did this happen?" Tony asked Vision, who stood nearby.

"I became distracted." Vision replied.

"I didn't think that was possible."

"Neither did I."

Keira looked out the corner of her eye to see Natasha walk down the corridor, looking just as concerned for Rhodey as the rest of them were.

It looked like she wasn't the only one who had spotted the redhead as Tony was also making his way towards Natasha.

"The doctors say he shattered L4 through S1. Extreme laceration in the spinal cord. Probably looking at some form of paralysis." Tony informed Natasha.

"Steve's not gonna stop," Natasha said. "If you don't either, Rhodey's gonna be the best-case scenario."

"You let them go, Nat."

Natasha looked between Keira and Tony. "We played this wrong."

"'We'? Boy, it must be hard to shake the whole double agent thing, huh? It sticks in the DNA."

"Tony," Keira warned.

"Keira's right," Natasha said. "Are you incapable of letting go of your ego for one goddamn second?"

"T'Challa told Ross what you did, so. . .they're coming for you."

"I'm not the one that needs to watch their back," Natasha said before walking away, Keira quickly following her.

"Whatever happens, Nat," Keira said, pulling the redhead into a hug.  "Just stay safe."

"You too, Keira," Natasha said. "Look after him, okay?"

"Well, I often don't get much choice in the matter."

"We've got to go," Tony said, leading Keira towards a chopper that was ready and raring to go.

"The Task Force called for a psychiatrist as soon as Barnes was captured. The UN dispatched Dr. Theo Broussard from Geneva within the hour. He was met by this man." FRIDAY informed the couple of the situation.

"Did you run facial recognition yet?"

"What do I look like?" FRIDAY responded. "The fake doctor is actually Colonel Helmut Zemo, Sokovian Intelligence. Zemo ran Echo Skorpion, a Sokovian covert kill squad."

"So, what happened to the real Broussard?" Keira asked.

"He was found dead in a Berlin hotel room. Where police also found a wig and facial prosthesis approximating the appearance of one James Buchanan Barnes."

"Son of a bitch," Tony muttered. "Get this to Ross."

"Yes, Boss."

"The Futurist, gentleman! The Futurist is here! He sees all! He knows what's best for you, whether you like it or not." Clint shouted just as Keira and Tony entered through a thick, steel security door.

"Give me a break, Barton. I had no idea they'll put you here. Come on." Tony replied.

"Yeah, well, you both knew they'd put us somewhere." Clint spat out.
