Keira crouched down behind a wall, her gun already loaded in her hands. It seemed like she had become an honorary member of the Avengers for the day.

She could hear Ultron discussing his disgust about Tony below and she knew that Tony, Steve, and Thor would arrive promptly.

"Ahh, Junior," Tony said, arriving right on cue with Thor and Steve right behind him. "You're gonna break your old man's heart."

"If I have to."

"We don't have to break anything," Thor said.

"Clearly you've never made an omelet."

"He beat me by one second," Tony said as Keira rolled her eyes from where she sat.

The rest of the Avengers were placed carefully around the ship, ready to strike once the moment called for it.

Keira had gotten to Aquila's eagle form in real life for once, which had caused her to become extremely excited.

It didn't take long for a fight to break out, as between Ultron and Tony, Steve and Thor, Keira knew that it would be impossible to come to an agreement.

Her S. H. I. E. L. D. agent training was certainly coming in handy as several guards were sent her way.

Aquila's voice sounded through the earpiece in Keira's ear. "Guys? Are you alright?" But the voice sounded weirdly distant and distorted before trailing off into silence.

"What is going on?" Keira muttered as she saw movement out of the corner of her eye. She whipped around only to see Clint with an electric arrow placed on the girl who had tried to sneak on her, her's forehead.

"Whoever's standing, we gotta move! Guys?" Clint called into his comm, only to receive no response.

Keira followed Clint over to where the fallen Avengers were in various states.

Steve, Thor, Natasha, and Aquila were all out of it thanks to the witch's magic.

Clint pressed his hand to his ear to signify that he was getting a message that Keira wasn't before he responded.

"Well, that's not gonna happen. Not for a while. The whole team is down, you got no back up here."

So while Tony was trying to contain the whole Hulk situation, Clint and Keira were left as the only two still standing, to get their dazed teammates back to the Quinjet safely.

Once they were all securely sat in seats, most of them still not completely there, Keira turned to Clint.

"Would do we do know?"

"We wait, I guess," Clint replied.

"Got any good stories?" Keira asked.

"Nope, but I do have a question."

"Go ahead."

"How did you and Tony happen? I didn't realize he would be capable of commitment."

Keira sighed. "Well, no one ever believes me when I say, I've hated him longer than I've actually tolerated him."

The atmosphere in the Quinjet was still tense as everyone was trying to recover from the mind tricks they had suffered from.

The majority of them were asleep on just sitting there in silence, leaving Tony, Clint, and Keira to check in on them every now and then.

"The news is loving you guys. Nobody else is. There's been no official call for Banner's arrest, but it's in the air." Maria's voice spoke over the Quinjet speaker.

"The Stark Relief Foundation?" Tony asked.

"Already on the scene," Maria informed. "How's the team?"

"Everyone's. . ." Tony trailed off, his eyes observing the disarray behind him.

"We took a hit." Keira finished.

"But we'll shake it off."

"Well, for now, I'd stay in stealth mode, and stay away from here."

"So, run and hide?" Tony clarified.

"Until we can find Ultron, I don't have a lot else to offer."

"Neither do we," Tony said turning off the monitor before turning to Clint who was piloting the Quinjet. "Hey, you wanna switch out?"

"No, I'm good. If you two wanna get some kip, now's a good time, cause we're still a few hours out."

"A few hours from where?"

"A safe house."

Tony and Keira eventually sat down, Keira resting her head on Tony's shoulder, their hands intertwined, a wave of tiredness suddenly washing over her.

"If this is what it takes to be an Avenger, I don't think I will continue." Keira yawned.

"Yeah." Tony agreed. "You alright?"

"Well, I'm better than most of the rest of the team. Clint saved me just before she could get into my head as well, otherwise, I would be the same."

"Yeah." Tony trailed off, both of them looking at the rest of the Avengers scattered in various positions across the Quinjet.

Aquila and Natasha were curled up in a corner, seeking the other for comfort, whilst Steve, Thor and Bruce were in different positions.

"I just hope this will all turn out okay," Keira said. "This is what you guys do for a living, it's dangerous. I'm merely tagging along for a day."

"Is that concern I hear?" Tony teased.

"Of course," Keira replied honestly.

"I honestly don't know what I would do without you," Tony replied, kissing the top of Keira's head only to see that she had dozed off.
