Tony eventually pulled out the flip phone that Steve had gifted him shortly after they had fallen out as a way to say in contact if some end of the world event happened again, but was quickly interrupted by a low rumbling sound from outside.
"Say, Doc, you wouldn't happen to be moving your hair, would you?"
"Not at the moment, no."
Keira's attention turned back to where Tony and Strange stood to find that a lock of Strange's hair was indeed flapping across his forehead.
But as the commotion of the street outside only got louder as did the rumbling sound.
Keira shared a quick look with Tony, both of them thinking the exact same thing, as they hurried to the front door of the Sanctum.
Chaos rained outside as people screamed alarmed, running for their lives, traffic impossibly tangled together.
A car crashed in a pole nearby causing Bruce to jump as Tony placed his glasses over his eyes.
"FRIDAY, what am I looking at?" Tony asked the system. "Hey! You might wanna put that Time Stone in your back pocket, Doc!"
"Might wanna use it." Strange replied, bands of spells already readied around his forearms.
"Yeah, if we are fighting aliens, it might come in handy," Keira spoke up.
"What is it with you and always agreeing with him?" Tony asked Keira.
"I'm just saying he does have a point!"
"Hear me, and rejoice. You are about to die at the hands of the Children of Thanos. Be thankful, that your meaningless lives are now contributing to. . ." One of the creatures said, opening his arms wide.
"I'm sorry, Earth is closed today," Tony sneered, cutting the creature off. "You better pack it up and get outta here."
"While you still can," Keira added.
The alien didn't give either of them much attention as his eyes landed on Doctor Strange. "Stone Keeper, do these chattering animals speak for you?"
"No, I speak for myself," Strange replied, stepping forward as magical shields appeared from his fists. "But you're trespassing in this city and on this planet."
"It means get lost, Squidward!"
"He exhausts me." The alien said, turning to his larger friend beside him. "Bring me the Stone."
The larger alien slowly made its way towards them, dragging its large alien hammer behind him.
"Banner, you want a piece?" Tony said turning to Bruce.
"No, not really, but when do I ever get what I want?"
"That's right," Tony replied as Bruce tried to transform only getting a slight discolor of green on his neck.
"Been a while. Good to have you, buddy."
"I just. . .I need to concentrate here for one second. Come on, come on, man."
"Where's your guy?"
"I don't know. We've sort been havin' a thing."
"Bruce, there's no time for a thing," Keira interjected, pointing towards the alien still approaching them. "That's the thing right there. Let's go."
"Dude, you're embarrassing me in front of the wizards."
"Tony, I'm sorry." Bruce stammered out. "Either I can't or he won't."
"It's okay," Keira said. "Stand down. Keep an eye on him."
Tony stepped forward as his bleeding-edge Iron Man armor covered his body, Strange and Wong already had bands of spells and magical shields forming around them.
Keira didn't have any special armor or magical powers, but she could keep up a pretty good fight. But considering she didn't have a gun or anything on her, her fists would just have to do.
"Woah. Where'd that come from?"
"It's nano-tech. You like it? A little someth--" Tony started to reply before the first alien through him up.
"Dr. Banner, if the rest of your green friend won't be joining us. . ." Strange said before, he teleported Bruce away, turning to Keira teleporting her away too.
"Oh, you've got to be kidding me!"
Keira stood nearby where Bruce lay on the ground, still fuming about being teleported away from the fight.
"You know it would be good to have the other guy right now?" Keira asked.
"I know, I know," Bruce replied. "I'm trying. He won't come out."
Tony suddenly flew into Keira and Bruce's view at a high speed, the suit plowing into the ground.
"Well, it looks like the fight is coming to us," Keira muttered.
The huge alien came back, his huge hammer swinging dangerously to where they all stood.
Keira watched in shock as a red blur appeared out of nowhere, blocking the hammer from hitting Tony.
"Hey, man. What's up, Mr. Stark?"
"Kid," Tony said in shock. "Where'd you come from?"
"Field trip to MoMa."
"Bea better still be on the bus, Parker," Keira warned.
"Oh, hey Keira," Peter replied. "She is."
Any more chance of conversation was quickly killed when the large alien took another swing.
"What is this guy's problem?" Peter asked.
"He's from space," Keira replied.
"He came here to steal a necklace from a wizard." Tony continued as Strange flew ahead.
"That's the wizard," Keira said, pointing overhead. "If you want to save him."
"On it."
Keira turned around to help Tony fight the large alien, both of them working in unison as they always did.
"I really need to build you a suit, huh?" Tony said.
"Well, it would be nice to not have to fight aliens with my fists."
"Uhhh, Mr. Stark? I'm being beamed up!"
"You got the kid?" Keira asked but was interrupted as the large alien attacked again but instead of actually attacking them he was sent through a portal, only the alien's severed hand remaining.
"Wong, you're invited to our wedding," Tony called out, sharing a final look with Keira, before flying towards the large ship.
"Well, I guess we are staying here," Keira said turning to Bruce behind her. "Considering we can't exactly fly and everything."
