this is like an epilogue on what happened to them after graduation. this won't be long and don't expect much here :--)))
15 years later......
KENZIE
"I'M GONNA GET YOU!" I heard Harry screaming at the same time hearing our 7-year old son giggling in the living room. I was in the kitchen, almost done preparing the food.
"Honey!" I yelled from the kitchen. "Can you change Caleb's clothes? I know how sweaty he gets when he plays with you. Also, please hurry. They'll be here any minute" I invited our college friends plus Harry's brothers over for lunch at our home.
I then noticed that he carried our son in his arms as he kissed me on the cheek. "Don't worry my love. I changed him already. I even put baby powder after" I smiled as I turned off the stove and poured it in a platter.
"Mommy! Mommy! Guess what daddy promised me?" I got curious once I placed the platter on the dining table near the living room sofas.
"What did you say now?" I raised my eyebrow at Harry.
"He said we can go to an amusement park after lunch" I sighed and looked at Harry then at my son.
"Only if you finish all your veggies. I know you've been sneaking them into daddy's plate when I'm not around" I told him.
"Okay" he smiled and Harry carried him towards me, planting a kiss on my cheek. Then we heard the doorbell rang. I took off my apron and we all rushed to the door. We opened and soon everyone was outside with their kids.
"Come in. Welcome." we held the door open for everyone to enter the room.
I closed the door after as Harry put Caleb down and played with the other kids.
"Oh my gosh you guys are here" I told Jasmin and Mitchell and hugged them as I saw Harry hugging his two brothers.
"Mackenzie this is my husband Josh and our daughter Emily" Harry walked up to where I was as we were shaking hands with Jasmin's husband.
Harry leaned and whispered to me. "What happened to the guy she was dating back in high school?"
"You mean Charles? Yeah, it didn't work out" I whispered.
"And this is my husband, Mark" Mitchell said and continued. "We are still deciding about adopting kids for a while" I smiled at him because I'm pretty sure they'll get kids soon.
When Jasmin and Mitchell started talking, Harry got my hand as he dragged me to where Marcel and Harold where standing along with their significant others. Harold was the one who spoke first. "Mackenzie, Harry, this is Hannah. My wife and our kids. Zeke and Lacey who are both 6-year old" me and Harry shook her hand and waved hello to their kids.
"This is Chelsea, my fiancée" we shook her hand and we were done getting to know everyone.
"Alright, now everybody is here, shall we move this party over to the dinner table?" everyone agreed and moved to the table and everyone sat down. We let the kids play in the living room as Caleb's toys were already laid out on the floor and cartoons playing on the TV.
We were all talking and enjoying one another's company. We missed everyone ever since graduation. So to recap:
Me and Harry studied in different schools, but in the same city. Our parents knew something was going to happen between us so they suggested if we could move in together. We had on and off arguments, but in the end, Harry had decided to pop the question to me and soon we got married and had our son Caleb after 1 year. Now we both have jobs that support one another.
Jasmin and Mitchell's life after graduation was fun since the both of them spent the whole time together planning their future and they met their husbands through mutual friends.
Harold and Marcel, well, when Harry moved out, they stayed for awhile at home with Anne and helped her find a job that is near where they both study in college. We make it a point that we see them once a month for lunch since Anne and Gemma want to see our kids.
Overall, we still continue to make happy memories and to be able to tell this when our kids grow up. Someday, they will make new memories of their own and they will able to tell this to their kids in the future because as a parent, we must pass down to our children some wisdom and knowledge.
