Years had passed since I returned to Nick. We dated the entire time and I enjoyed every moment of it. I would be gone for a long time with different missions but we still worked it out. I loved him so much and I wanted to be with him for the rest of my life.

I stood in the office with a few other agents, talking about many different things. I was friends with a lot of agents and I enjoyed every single one of them. I never invited them over to my place as I lived with Nick and neither one of them wanted the other agents to know we were together.

"Tess, are you up for some drinks later?" An agent, Henry, asked. "As in like a date?"

"No thanks," I replied. "I already have a boyfriend."

"Really?" Dahlia, another agent, asked. "Who is it? Can I see a picture?"

I shook my head. "No. He's really private."

Dahlia nodded understandingly. "Okay. Makes sense especially since you're a SHIELD agent."

"Yeah, that's right," I replied. "I don't want him to get targeted to get SHIELD information or something."

"Is he a good guy?" Henry asked.

"Yeah, he's an amazing man," I replied. "He treats me right and cares deeply for me."

"Tessa!" Nick called from across the room. "Come to my office for me please."

"You're in trouble," Dahlia murmured under her breath.

I left the group and entered Nick's office.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Close the door."

I did and sat in a chair in front of his desk.

"Are you busy tonight?" Nick asked.

"No," I replied. "Why?"

"I was thinking of taking you out to dinner," Nick replied. "Would you want to go with me?"

I smiled. "Yeah. That sounds like a great idea. Is it a fancy place or more casual?"

"Fancy," Nick replied. "You might want to pull out that pretty black dress you wear sometimes."

"The one I got in Moscow?" I asked.

Nick smiled softly. "That one, yeah. Wear that. You look nice in that."

I blushed. "Alright. I'll see you at home then."

"Are you leaving early?" Nick asked.

"Yeah," I replied. "I have to get ready, after all."

"Don't make it a habit," Nick sternly said.

I smiled mischievously. "Not unless you make it a habit of taking me out places."

Nick shook his head. "Get out of my office, Miyamoto."

I laughed as I got up. "I'll see you at home, honey."

I could hear Nick sigh as I left his office. I went to my desk and started looking through my computer, checking up on any of my contacts. A few hours had passed by before I left work. I walked down the street with my bag over my shoulder.

I arrived home in no time. I went up to my room and started getting dressed. I pulled out the black dress Nick was talking about. I threw it on the bed so I could change out of my clothes. When I was done with that, I pulled on my dress, struggling to zip it up. I got it though and looked into the mirror, twirling around a little as I looked at myself. I looked beautiful even before I had put makeup on.
