Taking what Luke said into account, we tried to find out way out of the Lockwood Inn. Heath ran to the lobby doors and pulled on them. "Locked."

"Not a problem for me," I smirked, walking up to the doors and giving them a hard punch. Nothing. Sean kicked the doors, and still nothing. Luke and Sam both tried blasting the door open with their powers, and STILL nothing.

"We're trapped!" Anastasia screamed, freaking out. I put a hand on her shoulder to calm her down. "Relax, Anastasia," I soothed. "The doors might be made of steel or something. We'll try another way out."

"Let's look for another way out of here," Sam suggested. We went up to the front desk and Sam rang the bell to get the lady's attention. We waited for 5 minutes, and no one came.

"Maybe she's busy?" I shrugged, not even sure if what I was saying was true.

"I've got a bad feeling the answer is no," Luke muttered. "Let's look around for anybody else."

So we went on a tour of the entire hotel, but no one was present in any of the rooms we went into. Sean and I tried to open the windows, but they were melted shut, and the glass was steaming hot, likely from the sun.

"Well, this is just great. We're being held captive," Heath muttered.

"It's the Sins," Luke muttered under his breath. "They've trapped us here. What I want to know, is why."

"Luke, we're all wondering that right now," Chomata sighed. "Right now, we have to make do until we find another way out of here. Follow me."

We all followed Chomata, who seemed to have an idea of where he was going. Eventually, we stumbled upon what was likely his family's room. When we arrived, he looked at all of us and said, "Look, I would believe that these Sins are as smart as us, since, well, they are us. They know our weaknesses. For now, we're setting up camp in here. No one leaves unless Luke or I are okay with it."

Chomata and Luke then kept watch as we all piled into the room, and then they went inside and Luke shut the door quietly. After everyone was settled down, Chomata said, "Alright. Luke and I are going to go find some resources. You all stay here. Got it?"

"Wait!" Anastasia called out before they left. "Why just the two of you? You know how dangerous this could possibly be."

Chomata gritted his teeth, and then told her, "Just stay here, okay? We'll be fine." With that, Chomata and Luke left, leaving the rest of us alone.

"This is a dumb idea. I hope they realize this," I mumbled after they left.

Luke and I were walking around the Lockwood Inn, checking as many of the hotel rooms as possible for resources, such as food, water, and anything else we would need to survive in our temporary imprisonment. While walking, I asked Luke, "Who would make lookalikes of us, and why would they want to?"
Luke could only sigh and give a heartless shrug. "I dunno, Chomata. What I do know is we need to fight off the Sins, or we won't be alive for much longer." He opened a door and we pretty much raided the drawers for anything we needed.

"Okay, we've only got a few more rooms left, then-" Luke stopped talking once he lost his balance and tripped, and his back slammed into a wall. I heard a beeping noise, and an opening began to appear in the wall.
