I woke up tied to the bars of the back of the cell I was in. I looked down seeing that my clothes were gone, blood was trailing down my legs.

I can't feel pain, and I'm glad I can't currently.

The sound of a garage door opening made goosebumps appear on my skin.

A Mexican guard arrived at the front of my sell and then whispered: " She's awake, come on."

He sat his aluminum baseball bat down as a nurse opened the cell door and got me down.

" She gonna be alright Alice?" He asked

" She gonna be alright Alice?" He asked.

" A concussion maybe. Dr. Stevens will have to look at her once were out of this hell hole."

" Here, put these on her." The Mexican man said, handing her his shirt and a pair of pants.

Alice dressed me and helped me up.

" Can you walk, Miss?" Alice asked me.

" Yeah. Dani"

" Martinez." The Mexican guy said.

" Alright, follow behind me, alright," Alice said. " Rick and you're friends will meet us on the highway."

" Rick? How long have I been here? A few days?"

I lost mt balance on blood that was leaking out from under a door and was about to fall when Martinez caught me.

" Come on guys." Alice said, turning the corner.

Martinez picked me up bridal shower style and darted after Alice into the smoke-filled air.

" GO!" I heard Rick yelled, giving cover fire for Maggie and the severely beaten Glenn.

We all made through the gate and in vehicles then booked it.

" Where's Dr. Stevens?" Alice asked.

" He didn't make it." Maggie said, breaking the news.

I tried to wrap my head around the situation, and then I remembered everything, including what happened to Shane.

" Rick-" I started, then I noticed that he only had one arm. " Shane's dead. That monster killed him."

" We know." Glenn said.

" I got him killed. My stupid mouth got him killed."

Alice wrapped her arm around me and pulled me in close, comforting me.

" Phillip will be coming for us," Martinez said. " I hope you guys are ready for it."

" I'll worry about that," Rick said. " Rest up, you need it."

I was wide awake when we pulled up to the prison and Carl and Carol opened the gate.

When Rick parked everyone got out, Lucy came running towards me, balling.

" I'm alright. I'm OK." I repeated for the next twenty minutes.

" I was scared to death," She continued. " Wha- is this blood?"

" Yeah, my period started on the way here. It's fine."

" Come on. You look terrible. Let's get you washed off."

" She needs two of these a day and rest." Alice said, handing Lucy a bottle Tylenol.

" Thank you..."

" Alice."

" Again, thank you."

( Rick's P.O.V.)

Maggie helped Glenn inside as Alice and Martinez followed me in.

" You two will be staying in D Block."

" That's fine," Alice said. " We're basically strangers. We get it."

" DAD!" Carl yelled, hugging me as I entered C block.

I wrapped my left arm around him as the almost busting Lori popped her head out of the cell she was staying in.

We made our way to our cell and relaxed. I laid next to Lori and zoned out, thinking of what we were going to do now.
