As linussmiles19 mentioned in a comment in the previous chapter, there is an extra segment of The Poison Jungle at Kobo.com.
The excerpt for Scholastic goes up to only Chapter 2, whereas the one at Kobo.com ends in the middle of Chapter 4.

Unfortunately for us, it has an even bigger cliffhanger, as it leaves off right before Sundew is about to reveal her crush.
And in my opinion, that is worse than not knowing if Swordtail lives or not.
We meet 3 new characters in Chapters 3 and 4:
The three LeafWings Mandrake, Nettle, and Wolfsbane.
(Wolfsbane is a good name- nice choice, Tui! I also have a LeafWing OC named Aloe.)
I was actually quite shocked when I found out Mandrake was supposed to be Sundew's fiancée, because I really had no idea arranged marriages existed in Wings of Fire.
And now I can begin to understand why Tui had said in her email that Sundew was afraid to reveal her crush on Willow to her parents, because I have a feeling LeafWing society is very anti-LGBTQ.
Anyways, only 9 days now!
