Updates on Wings of Fire!

Wow...

I finally got to finish the shiny book (AKA Dragonslayer) today, and it took WAY longer to read than a regular Wof book (XD), and here are my comments on it:

(also I'll still leave this book's cover as Dragonslayer just because)

(OBVIOUSLY SPOILERS FOR DRAGONSLAYER BELOW...)

Okie spoilers begin here-

When I was reading Dragonslayer, I felt like I was reading a Wof fanfic, but also... not a Wof fanfic. It's kind of hard to describe what I mean. Like, the stuff in it ties into the books so well, but its style is unlike almost any other book in the Wof series... I mean, beacuse it's told from the perspective of scavengers, right?

But eh. IT WAS STILL AN AMAZING BOOK. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED.

So, basically we are 10000 percent sure now that Sky is Ember. And is Kestrel's son. Like, VERY VERY SURE.

WE NEED A PERIL AND EMBER/SKY REUNION GUYS

And wow, I never knew that Dragon (the language) on paper looked like moon, claw, and fire shapes... that must be cool. I wish I could see it... it would be amazing if there was a GN for Legends: Dragonslayer...

I COMPLETELY understand what Ivy means when she says that her drawn dragons looked too much like horses... COMPLETELY  XD

Big rip the dragonmancers but honestly they deserve it

I like the way the book ends at a cliffhanger... about the Invincible Lord and everything.

And also, is it strange that I find Undauntable's crush on Wren just... weird? And creepy, in a way?

Also interesting how Undauntable is actually willing to betray his father for Wren... oh my

AND ACK LEAF AND IVY KISS IN THE BOOK AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH

Haha Deathbringer, imagine being called "Murderbasket" XDDDD

Also, if the scavengers (Leaf, Wren, Ivy, and co.) plan to meet Sunny (the little golden dragon), THEN HOW COME THEY MAKE NO MENTION OF IT IN BOOKS 6-10. BLEH.

Also, the Indestructible City was actually mentioned briefly in Book 7 of Wof. Do you guys still remember that...?

Also, I should stop using the word "also."

Another thing- you know how Dragonslayer ends with a cliffhanger of the Invincible Lord saying something along the lines of "Pyrrhia will be mine one day?"

Who thinks that foreshadows Arc 4- if there will be one- which will be about dragons (including ones from Pantala once they solve the Othermind crisis) and humans living in harmony, and the Invincible Lord is the antagonist?
