ANYWAYS, I've finished TPJ, and it is now officially one of my favorite books from Wings of Fire!

SPOILERS FOR TPJ BELOW

Also, about the ship between Sundew and Willow- I've noticed something about the LGBTQ ships in Wings of Fire.

Compared to the straight ships, the shipped characters are usually calmer towards each other and less like "YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE YOU LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL THREE MOONS."

For example, I've read Winglets: Runaway, and the characters in the Kindred Spirits ship (Snowfox and Snowflake) aren't mushy to each other at all.

The only hints we get of the ship are (SPOILER FOR RUNAWAY) when Snowflake acknowledges she can share anything with Snowfox, and she never has to ice over her anger when she's around Snowfox.

Also, you know the epilogue, right? Well, the swarms of dragons Queen Snowfall's guards saw were likely the Pantalan refugees. But I'm actually not that sure anymore though, because the epilogue didn't say anything like "4 days later..." so...

Also, you know at the end, this is what happens:

(Excerpt from The Poison Jungle epilogue):

"If you can't do magic," Queen Snowfall spat, "then what good are you? You're completely useless!"

Jerboa watched the queen spin and fly away, fury radiating off her like a cloud of ice particles.

Completely useless, Jerboa thought, allowing herself the smallest of smiles. Yes. Just like I've always wanted.

Like, does that not sound suspicious?

As if Jerboa II might be behind the reason why animus magic doesn't work anymore?

Anyways, that's just a theory.

But a very plausible one, mind you.

About the full cover art:

Those snakes... I would've assumed they were Hawthorn's vipers, but since I saw other LeafWings in the background, I changed my mind. The one in the bottom right-hand corner is SO BIG!

Lol
