~Y/N's POV~

I didn't want to see him. I was royally pissed off at him. And I thought...truly believed we could have something.

"Hey Y/N!" Someone called out.

I stopped my depressing train of though and I looked around to see who would be calling my name. I finally spotted the group.

A guy I had never seen before, Al, and Race. All running towards me.

Once they reached me, Race tried to hug me, but I just side stepped him, and lighty just patting his shoulder with my hand. "Hey, what's wrong," he tried to talk to me.

I gave him a quick shrug off with a mediocre smile before addressing the others. "Hi Al. Who is this?" I asked Al, looking at the new guy.

"His name is Davey. He also has a little brother around here somewhere."

I shook Davey's hand, "I'm Y/N."

Davey had brown hair and light brown-green eyes with a just striking smile. "Hi. My little brother Les should be around here. The guys have told me a lot about you and...wow."

"Well I hope they told you good things."

He chuckled and nodded. I noticed - because of the blaitiness obvious - that Davey was either an extremely anxious individual or he thought I was attractive.

"Well, it was nice meeting you. Always great to make more friends. Sorry, I'm busy, I can't really talk. But, hope to see you around!" I walked away briskly, trying to escape Race and the awkwardness Davey brought.

I truly didn't mean to be rude, but I'd either cry or try to fight Race in a matter of seconds with the anger. All my emotions were speaking to me about how terrible I was and about how Race had been two timing or didnt really care. Oh, it hurt way to much for me to think he wouldn't care about me.

I just ran to the tailor shop. I just wanted to work and be distracted from all of this.

...

"Hey!"

I started to walk faster before I was pushed up against an alley wall. I had closed my eyes on impact before opening them to see desperate blue ones looking back. Race. "What do you want, Higgins?"

"Why are you acting like this? What's wrong?"

"I worried myself sick about you. I was so scared and I talked to Al just to find you had some other girl!"

Wow, good job myself with trying to keep this a peaceful and civilized talk or manner.

"She never ment anything to me. And, I broke it off with her before I even met you."

"Al told me that she claimed she was pregnant!"

"Well she wasn't," he defended.

"She still had you running like a chicken without a head, so something happened at some point to make you forget about me!"

"I never planned on you."

It stung like shit. I had no idea if it was a good or bad connotation but in an argument, I was pissed and that was rude.

"I never planned on someone like you either Race. I never planned on having a boyfriend that didn't even like me. So we're through. Go back to her!"

"Y/N, I didn't mean it like that. No, no please. I'm sorry," he tried to explain.

Damn, figuring out connotations in a fight is so confusing. To late. I wrestled out of his grip, taking down the street. "Please!" I heard him yell after me, his feet pounding pavement behind me.

My heart hurt way more that it had previously and I didn't stop running until I was home.
