Skyler and Logan walked around in the Commons Area, with some of Logan’s buddies at his heals behind him.

“So Logan,” said Skyler, “What do you do for fun?”

“Glad that you asked,” grinned Logan, “We got this awesome area for Sports. Come on and see.”

Skyler nodded, tucking at her Hybrid Organization hoodie. She felt sick in the stomach, acting like the enemy. She just needed to stay for a few days. Just long enough so that she can get some information and give it to Erebus.

Yet as soon as Skyler thought that, more guilt rushed over her. These Hybrids are like her. Why would she help destroy them?

Skyler blinked in confusion. Where did those thoughts come from? It must be Logan. Maybe he has the power to confuse people with false emotions. As much as she wanted to believe that was the truth however, Skyler knew it wasn’t true. Venti can’t control emotions. They can only summon lightning and short-circuit stupid androids. And yet another question hit her, one that kept bugging Skyler since the attack.

Why did the androids went after her first and not Experiment 666? Erebus said that he programmed them not to hit Skyler. She remembered his words when Skyler was first introduced them as a little girl.

“Relax my dear,” he had said, “These androids are simply here to guard us from our foes. They will only attack the enemy.”

She remembered her violet eyes looking up at those mechanical red ones. They stared down at her, like they were scanning Skyler to search for her weakness.

Suddenly Logan grabbed her arm and said, “Whoa! In coming!”

Skyler thought she finally lost it, for a full grown elephant came marching past them, heading for the Sports Area. Hybrids dodged out of the way to avoid being squished as it thundered away.

“What the heck?!” said Skyler, almost getting a heart attack.

“Basic Hybrid,” said Logan, “That’s Charles.”

     Skyler blinked, “Charles―?”

Logan pointed as the Elephant stopped and started to shrink. Where the Elephant used to be is now taken place of a dark skinned boy with black hair and brown eyes, wearing a Hybrid Organization jacket and jeans. He looked no older than sixteen, stopping in front of another dark-skinned girl. This girl has stringy black hair and dark brown eyes, with a Hybrid Organization T-shirt and shorts. A lioness necklace hung around her neck. Charles said hi to her, including her name. Skyler was pretty sure he called her Tyler. Tyler told Charles something funny and they both laughed.

“Tyler Hazel,” explained Logan, “Also Basic. Don’t know why she has a boy’s name but eh. Come on.”

Skyler nodded and they went to the Sports Area. Logan scowled when he saw Jay and Lucian hanging out, watching some Hybrids play basketball. Cavian was with them to, clapping as one of the Hybrids scored a basket.

“What are you doing here Lucy?” said Logan, “Get lost.”

Lucian turned and glared, “I told you, it’s Lucian. Loo-shin!” He pronounced it the second time to make sure it got into Logan’s head, “And I’m pretty sure you don’t own the camp, Logy.”

     Logan growled, “Logan.”

“Alright, break it up you two,” said Jay, “And Lucian is right, for every Hybrid here has a right to where they want to be in this Organization. Besides, Professor Pearce has the right to decide who goes where, not you.”
