Band fun

Faye:

Since our latest performance, a bit of time passed.  Our performances went really well, there were some really nice articles about it too - and what's the best about that all is, that we didn't argued. Yes we reunited and basically get along but sometimes there just are small arguments, which usually makes us sad as we all seem to think about when the band splitted. But fortunately, there was such a great atmosphere that there were no arguments - not even with the crew. The concerts went simply great and that's exactly what we wanted.

Shortly after one of our concerts, we were all watching the final of Strictly Come Dancing together. A male celebrity, an actor to be precise, won the final - he was kinda liked a lot by the public, probably because of not being a ringer and all.

Giovanni and hiscelebrity partner made it to the final to and performed at such a  great level. To me, they were the winners - which was something the others, especially H, liked to tease me about. So what if I said that. Giovanni is a lovely person.

But back to now. We're in the recording studio again, meeting with Pete to talk about what's ahead for the band. We usually have these meetings every few weeks to talk about possible issues in between the band, for example if someone is unhappy with anything.

Pete said he wants us to work out and no matter what our issues are going to be, we'll find a solution together.

Anyways, back to now. As usual, I wait in front of the recording studio; alongside H who already arrived too. We're both playing on our phones but after a while, H starts a conversation - not being subtle as usual. "So that Italian Stallion... he was cool, wasn't he?" he asks with a smirk.

"Shut up H." I mumble, acting as if being totally focused on my phone - when in fact I'm scrolling through the pictures of our latest concerts.

"Oh come on, you can't deny that he didn't flirt with you." H arguments. I wish I could hit him with a pillow but since that doesn't work out, I just sigh. "And you were flirting with him as well."

"H in all honesty, what are you implying? I'd been flirting with Lee back then too and so what?" I say before realising that this example is nonsense. H had always teased Lee and me back then, the same way he always is teasing me when knowing that I fancy someone.

"I'm sure someone out there is a good partner for you. And when you've found that person... then you'll know that it's the correct one for you." H smiles.

"Quite poetic." I say. "I mean... I thought Dylan was the correct guy and heck I even thought Travis was the correct guy. And what did I end up with? First I got abused and then cheated on. Brilliant, that improves my confidence so much."

"But you weren't shy when you were around Giovanni." H arguments now.

"Weirdly, yes. But I'm not shy around you all either." I respond.

"Because we're best friends. Faye, I know about your confidence issues and by no means am I talking them down but... but you don't need to doubt yourself. Ever. You're beautiful, you're modest and friendly and you're our best friend. And if you ask me, Giovanni is a good guy. Everyone who gets to meet you will see what a gorgeous person you are."

I shake my head, faking a laugh when in reality this has made me quite emotional. I love them all so much too and can't even thank them enough for all they'd done to me. We really are best friends, no matter which arguments we've had. "You and the others are my best friends too." I then say.

"I'm glad to hear we're friends." H smiles. "You mean a lot to me, Fluff and we all aren't just a band, we're best friends."

At his words, a flashback comes across my mind. An image of the band being at my house, shortly after Travis' attack.
