Faye:
Sitting outside of the recording studio, we're enjoying the sunshine while reading through the text of our newest song. Since publishing 'One for Sorrow' we're really something in music business. Similar to our previous song, it was almost on the top of the charts! We're still so stunned by this; being top of the charts is- wow. Our career is literally going through the roof! We're appearing on shows or are even doing shows of our own, we're guest acts or host concerts across England. It's incredible. Pete planned a lot for us after we published new songs not long ago; one of them being a cover and the other one by ourselves. The plot of both videos is quite nice, especially when we were like from a movie and rescuing a kidnapped H. At first we were suspicious if that idea wouldn't seem weird but by now we think it's a great plot. Both songs feature us girls on the lead which is such an honor after that latest argument. And most recently, Pete told us about the plans for a new album and about an event where we invited to. Abbamania; an show where plenty of famous singers and bands will perform - including us! We're indeed performing on stage alongside other artists! It's still a bit until then but we're already positively crazy with excitement!
It obviously also means plenty of rehearsals, singing and dancing, but what's the best about this all is that we're even rehearsing with the other artists. Journalists would even wait for us to walk out of the studio, occasionally wanting to question us all. It's kinda cute and also fun. Even if we now need to focus on our newest song which will be filmed in a simple studio in London. But after that we'll travel again, he said. But what's even more nice is the fact that we're getting along again. After a good talk and celebrating our success at a club together, we seem as close as back when we met. That's the best of this whole band stuff.
"Should we start singing again?" Claire asks us. Probably I wasn't listening for quite a while now hence her puzzled look that she focuses me with.
"We should because we actually were just talking instead of practicing. It's simply all so exciting." I smile, already imagining us alongside all these artists on stage. Rehearsals with them are going fairly well.
"No practice and yet so successful." H jokes. "We're so amazing."
Well that is somehow true. We didn't do much for the new song at all yet and someehow tend to joke about that. "Okay, then let's start. With or without music?" Claire continues.
"Maybe without music, just to see how good we already know the melody?" Lee asks and we all agree to his idea. Normally, that question would start a new discussion, but we seem to be satisfied with us. Maybe it's because the lines in this song are divided fairly again, which is great - although it's not seeming like this is is the only reason that we're back at our good friendship. Maybe we just needed this argument - but doesn't matter now. So we decide just concentrate on the song, especially on its melody for now. And while rehearsing, we need to realise that we definitely should do a bit more of these rehearsals. Not because we don't know the melody, that's actually not the problem. But we don't really know our lines yet - singing different sentences than our notes show which is fairly weird.
"This was good." Claire jokes, as the song is finished. "We should be so proud of us."
We all join her laughter, before H answers. "We manage that with a bit more of rehearsals."
Sometimes it's stunning how it seems like he's the member of our group who isn't as nervous about a new song as we are.
"Hopefully. We need to be as good as previously, especially now with the amount of success." Lisa says, sounding slightly nervous. We agree, thoughtfully looking at our notes. "But I think that we can still be proud of us." she continues shyly.
