Faye:

A few days after we'd started working on the reunion show, we're prepared for the interview with a magazine. Before that, we'll be styled as there will be several camera guys too and a member of the styling crew already joked about our previous costumes. Well yes, our costumes were quite interesting back then - but it was our style, it was fitting for what we portrayed in our music videos despite some people didn't like the outfits. For this interview and the photos, we'll wear more 'modern' outfits. H joked about us all attending the interview in our weirdest Steps outfits but well, the crew insists on us wearing the modern stuff.

After we're changed and styled, we wait in our dressing rooms for being told to go to the interview. And while I wonder what that journalist will ask us about, apart from the reunion stuff of course, the door swings open and Lee enters the room. He's dressed in a very pretty outfit, definitely not something I imagined as 'modern stuff' and in fact, he looks great. For a moment, we just stare at each other - or at our outfits to be exact - before Lee says a short 'Nice' while grinning.

That totally reminds me of when we filmed the music video of 'Say you'll be mine' and just like back then I answer "You look very nice too. I thought they'll dress us rather odd but these outfits are quite lovely."

"Ready for the interview?" he asks with a smile.

"Yes." I reply, quickly walking past him. We join the others in the hallway, now all walking towards the journalist together. There are wide smiles on all of our faces; that guy probably doesn't know why we're laughing so hopefully he doesn't think we're laughing about him. "Hello, Steps!" he welcomes us cheerfully. We greet back equally cheerful before taking a place. "So, you really try to reunite?" he asks. For real? Of course, we do! Still I don't answer to that question, not wanting to seem rude.

"Yes, we try to make this reunion between us work." Lisa answers, putting on a smile.

"There are little arguments sometimes but-" Lee starts to say but the journalists just interrupts him.

"It were arguments between all of you that led to the decision to disband, wasn't it like that?"

"Well, we argued a lot but we talked about it and-"

"But what were the exact topics of your arguments? Back then, we read things like there was a lot of tension because of the singing roles." he explains, interrupting whatever Claire was about to say.

"That's true. And if you would let us explain, you wouldn't need to interrupt us." I say before even thinking of it.

"I see. Quite rude, are you?" he asks, his expression being not as cheerful as before.

"She's not rude, she said what we all thought." H replies, putting on an equal expression.

"I'm sorry." I answer, more quiet.

"Good. Whatever, so there was tension about the singing roles because they weren't divided fairly by your producer. Is that something that led to arguments recently too?"

"No. We were arguing because of being a bit stressed. You know, we're planning to release an album, we also will perform on a tv show so there's a lot of stuff to do." Claire says, seeming slightly shy when seeing that all our looks are focused on her.

"I see. How are rehearsals?"

"Quite good." Lee says. "We really enjoy being in the recording studio. Dance rehearsals are a bit more stressful but after all it's still our own choreography."

He laughs slightly at his own words and we laugh along as this is exactly what we told our choreographer too.

"Okay. And I want to ask something else." he says, now focusing on me. "I heard about your ex recently being released from prison. What do you think about that? After all he was abusive."
