Long chapter ahead owo!!

You woke up in your empty apartment, Mister Tronco sent himself back to his home in the middle of the night, leaving a note of apology debating whether if he will be returning or not. He took the car with him, leaving you stranded inside your home.

You prayed for his recovery and hoped that he gets the closure he needs.

Walking over to the office room and sitting in the chair, you took the candlestick phone in your hand. You decided to bring your butler back from his vacation days and began to dial for him.

After your quick phone call, he agreed to meet you at the church in the outskirts of Lawless. With that settled, you began walking downstairs, you decided to make yourself breakfast.

Turning on the radio, through the occasional static you were able to hear trumpets playing. While listening to jazz, you grabbed the necessary ingredients for your light food.

Quickly, you made yourself sunny side up eggs, fried strips of bacon, accompanied by mashed potatoes and a muffin. You poured orange juice into your cup and began to set up your plate.

There was a knock on the side door and you had an idea on who it was. You walked towards the foyer, stepping on the white tiled floor with your socks.

Opening it, Avilio stands there with his hands in his pockets as he mutters a good morning. It looked like he walked all the way to the pharmacy, perhaps he missed the trolley.

"Your mother allowed me into the apartment," He says, avoiding your gaze.

"That's good to hear," You replied, stepping over to the side and letting him come in. "Have you had breakfast yet?"

"Not really," Avilio mumbles.

You grabbed onto his sleeve, "I made extra food, I would love it if you would join me."

Avilio's pale face seemed to have a dash of pink, "Alright."

The two of you walked over to the dining room, Tell Me Little Gypsy began to play on the radio. You let Avilio sit down across from your seat, you allowed him to eat with you.

With John Steel singing in the background, you felt like you were back in your mansion in the outskirts of Lawless. You glanced at Avilio and caught him looking at you.

His eyes were now avoiding yours, he seemed more focused on the bacon and mashed potatoes. You swallowed the eggs and wiped your mouth, you tilted your head with curiosity.

"You seem quiet, Avilio."

The black-haired male glances up at you before his gaze falls onto the plate again, "It's nothing."

"Is something bothering you?" You asked, wondering if the food you made wasn't to his liking.

"Not exactly," He replies.

"Why are you making a red face?" You asked, thinking he might be a little feverish.

"Don't make me say it..."

"Say what?"

Avilio let's out a nervous chuckle when his eyes looked down at you. He covers his mouth with the napkin and you heard him let out a cough.

"You're still in your nightgown," He admitted.

It took you a while before your cheeks flushed a bright pink, you looked down at yourself and you were in fact, wearing your white, lacy sleepwear.

You covered your forearms and turned your face away, embarrassed to be sitting in front of Avilio with such light clothing.

"My apologies," Your lips trembled. "I shouldn't look like this in front of a man..."
