You made it a bad habit that every time you hung out with Ethan that you'd give him a kiss on the cheek before you left. He'd blush every time, even though he always knew it was coming. This small ritual went on for months before one day he called you out.

Leaving the living room after helping him put the furniture back in its rightful home after using it as a makeshift dance studio with Gray, you kissed his cheek.  "See-ya later E" you say, giggling as you left the room, you felt a slight grip around your wrist before you could step away further. You turned your head to see a blushing red Ethan staring at you.

"Y/n, if you keep kissing my face like that I'll have to retaliate" he spoke softly as if he was scared his words would break you. His grip loosened from around your wrist as he walked closer to you, keeping your eyes trained on his lips.

His chest almost pressing against yours as you turned to face him completely. Looking down momentarily you could see the rise and fall of his chest, an uneven breathing pattern as he tried to overcome his nerves.

Looking up once again, your eyes met Ethan's. He leaned in slowly, bringing his lips softly against yours for a few seconds before pulling back to gauge your reaction. This time you were the one left blushing. He went to walk away but you pulled him back but the collar of his shirt, pulling against this throat softly.

Coming back to stand against you he wrapped his arms around the small of your back, pulling you as close to him as you could get, looking up you placed one of your hands on his cheek and the other on his shoulder as you whispered softly against his parted lips.

"Kiss me again, E, like you mean it" he smirked slightly before softly connecting his lips with yours.
