Ethan's POV:

The heavy rain tapping against my window is the only sound filling the dimly-lit room. Me and Y/n lay in silence as she reads her book, The Fault In Our Stars.

My eyes break away from my phone screen to look at her, peacefully reading. Every now-and-then, a little smile creeps onto her cute face.

I turn my phone off and throw it on the other side of the bed, groaning as I turn on the other side of the bed and pulling the blanket over both of our bodies.

"Ethan, stop looking at me." She blushes, her angelic giggle passing her lips.

"You're so beautiful, Y/n." I mumble. My eyes scan over every inch of her face, admiring what's mine.

"Thank you." She says above a whisper, looking up for a split second and pecking my lips, making me feel all warm inside.

I continue to watch her read for a few more minutes, until I notice her blinking a lot slower, her eyelids getting heavy. That's when she opens her mouth to yawn, whining as she does so.

"You tired, my love?" I mumble, running my hand through her messy hair.

"Mhm." She answers. Without a second thought, I take her book from her hands, along with her bookmark, and putting it on the page she was on.

I grab both sides of her glasses and slid them off her face folding them up and putting them on the bedside table next to me.

I turn back around to face her once again, seeing her smile. My built arm wraps around her waist, pulling her closer to me so her face is buried in my chest. Her arm lazily wraps around my waist, gently caressing my back muscles.

"I love you so much, Y/n." I grab the back of her thigh and put it in between mine so our legs are tangled like how I wanted them to be.

"I love you too, Ethan." Her voice vibrates on my chest and I feel her lips gently kiss my skin before readjusting her head in a more comfy position.

I rest my cheek on the top of her head as my warm, soft hand rubs up and down her back slowly making her fall asleep.

I feel her soft breaths fan against chest, which get heavier the more I kiss her head and rub her back, indicating that she is falling asleep.

My eyes begin to flutter shut as I soon drift off into sleep myself, appreciating every second with the love of my life peacefully sleeping in my arms.
