"Thank you again, Ethan." I smile.

"Stop thanking me! I wanted to take you to a nice place like this. You know I would do anything to make you happy." He says, holding my hands in his.

I looked around the restaurant. The people were so fancy and the place was just as fancy. I couldn't afford anything on the menu here so Ethan gladly paid for me. I hated to make him do that. I hated telling him "No", but he insisted as it's our 3 month anniversary of being together. We haven't said "I love you" to each other yet, but I was planning on doing so at the end of the night.

"Have you decided what you would like yet?" Our waiter comes up to us, smiling brightly.

"Yeah. I'll have the steak." He says.

"Could I just have the caesar salad?" I smile and he nods.

The waiter walks away and Ethan looks at me. "You know, you don't have to order something small. You can have anything you want."

"I know. I actually wanted the salad." I lied a little.

I could tell he didn't believe me by the expression on his face. He gives me a silly face and shakes his head.

"What?!" I laugh.

"Nothing. Just stay over there with your salad ass." He joked.

*2 HOURS LATER*

"Where do you want to go now?" He says as his hand rests on my thigh while he drives.

"Hmmmm..." I say thinking. I look around the place surrounding us, not seeing a lot of options. We could go to Target and just look around or we could go to the trampoline park, but I didn't want to go to those places. Finally, I spotted the place I wanted to go.

"There." I pointed to the pet store just ahead of us at the strip mall.

He smiled and drove towards it. I could feel myself boiling with excitement. I love animals. I always have and I always will. It was even more exciting that I'm doing this with my boyfriend. I wanted today to be extra special and a day to remember.

We get out of the car and link hands as soon as we reach each other. He opens the door for me like the gentleman he is. Our hands swung around as we looked at the variety of animals they had. They were absolutely adorable. When we turned the corner, I saw it. The thing I have been looking for. It was a whole bunch of fluffy puppies in a cage. I paced myself over to them and climbed in the cage.

I could feel Ethan smiling at me from behind. As I sat down in the cage, the puppies climbed all over me. Some of them started to chew on my hand and shoes and others laid themselves on my lap. I looked up at Ethan who had a wide grin upon his face. He looked happy, but I knew what would make him happier to be with the puppies too.

"Come here." I held out my hand for him to grab it.

He grabs my hand and starts to play with it. "There isn't enough for the two of us in there."

I tried to come up with a way that we can both be in the cage with the puppies. Then, I had it. I grabbed the puppies and took them off of me. I stood up and motioned for him to come in. He climbed into the cage and sat down with a confused expression plastered onto his face.I sat myself in his lap and the puppies started to play with him.

A few after I sat down, I felt something poking me. I knew what it was, but I wasn't going to say anything. I looked at Ethan who had the biggest smile on his face as the puppies were attacking him.

"We should get going soon. I wanted to go to the beach." I said with a tone of sadness due to leaving the adorable and cuddly puppies.

"Okay." He said, grabbing my hips and pushing me up with him as we stood up.

We climbed out of the cage and walked out of the pet store. We got into the car and headed to the nearest beach. His hand was on my thigh the entire time. It wasn't at an uncomfortable level. I would have liked his hand to be a little higher though.

I grabbed his hand and linked it with mine. He looked over at me for a split second and smiled.

"Are you gonna sleep at my place?" He asked.

"I don't know. I don't want to be a burden." I said kind of jokingly.

"Babe, you are not a burden." He said not getting the joke.

"I know." I replied snobbishly.

"Ha ha," He says sarcastically. "but will you? I really just wanna be with you tonight."

"I guess since it's our three month anniversary." I say, taking my hand in his and bringing up to my lips to his hand a kiss.

"Hey! That's my job!" He says lifting my hand to his lips, giving it a bunch of kisses.

Within a few minutes, we made it to the beach. The sun was still setting so the sky started to become dark. I knew that now would be the perfect time to tell him. He grabs my hand as I walk up to the front of the car. We take off our shoes and carry them with us as we wander across the beach. There was nobody here.

"I can't believe we have only been dating for three months." I say.

"I know. It feels like it has been a lot longer than that. As long as I'm with you, I don't care what time of day it is or how long it has been since I asked you to be my girlfriend." He said, squeezing my hand tighter.

All I said was "Awww." I didn't want to say it too soon, but I couldn't wait any longer.

"Ethan?" I asked.

"Yeah?" He replied while we were still walking around.

"I love you." I said in the slightest tone I could.

He stops and looks at me, his eyes are wide. It's like he was not expecting me to say that. "What did you just say?" He got a little closer to me.

"I love you, Ethan." I say with a huge smile on my face. I got worried because he didn't do anything. He just stood there shocked.

"Holy crap." He says. He laughs and sweeps me off of my feet. I wrap my legs around his torso and he attaches his lips with mine. He passionately kisses me out of pure happiness. I kissed him back as best as I could.

I pull away from him and say "Does this mean you love me too?"

"Yes! Of course!" He says and plants multiple kisses all over my cheeks and forehead. "I love you so so much."

I seriously could not have imagined this day getting any better.

What a magical day indeed.
