(Alero walks into the classroom, after almost thirty minutes of looking for her class. The school seemed very huge and no one even had the courtesy to show her to her class. And finally, when she got to the third floor she saw the JSS 3 class she was looking for. Now here was another problem, was she to go to JSS 3 A, B or C. And then a teacher came to her rescue)
Alero: Good morning, ma. (She said stammering very shyly)
Miss Shamock: Good morning, dear. (She replies raising her head up) You must be a new student (She exclaimed)
Alero: Yes, I am.
Miss Shamock: Nice to meet you, call me Miss Shamock. I will be your classroom teacher and also your French teacher. I was told that my new student was coming from France.
Alero: Yes, miss Shamock. I was born in France and lived there till my dad got transferred to Port Harcourt.
Miss Shamock: Welcome to De Royal Schools our students are happy to see you (turns to the class) Class you have a new classmate, please take her as your friend and don't leave her out of anything you are doing, understand?
Class: Yes, miss Shamock.
Shilah: (a girl from the class) Nice to meet you, you didn't tell us your name.
Alero: Oh! So forgetful of me! My name is Alero Williams.
Shilah: Nice to meet you Alero, my name is Shilah.
Alero: (smiled and sat down beside her new friend)
(Lights out)
