(Shilah stood by her mum as they rang the doorbell to Alero's peaceful and extra- quiet home)
Alero: Good Evening, mummy Shilah. I am so happy to see you both.
Mrs. Nandom: We are happy to see you too.
Alero: Please make yourself at home, let me go and get some drinks. (She said, pointing towards the direction of the sofa)
Mrs. Nandom: Alero where are your parents?
Alero: My dad is not in town and my mum went for a service in church. She will soon be back.
Mrs. Nandom: Alright! I am leaving now, my regards to your mum. Shilah, I will be back for you by 10:00am tomorrow.
Alero: Okay. (She says with excitement while she carries Shilah's little bag into the room)
Shilah: Bye, mummy.
Alero: (Closes the front door)
Shilah: What a quiet house! Is it always like this?
Alero: Yes.
Shilah: Lucky...
Alero: Are you hungry?
Shilah: I'll eat something light.
Alero: Okay then, my mum made egg and sardine sauce yesterday. There's some leftover in the fridge. Will that do?
Shilah: Yes, but with a little boiled yam.
Alero: Okay, I'll be back in a jiffy.
Shilah: (Laughs out loud) Classic Alero, always waiting on others.
(Lights out)
