(Alero and Shilah are seen clearing the kitchen after a nice dinner)

Shilah: Can you imagine, Alero?

Alero: Imagine what?

Shilah: You see this life? When we were always busy studying, Nancy, Malory and Ellie will always be bullying people.

Alero: It was because, they didn't bother about education and when an exam or test came, they would always cheat but don't even score so high.

Shilah: True, they hardly scored up to average.

Alero: So what if they weren't cheating?

Alero and Shilah: They would get zero all the time. (They chorused and laughed)

Alero: Imagine them trying to frame me.

Shilah: Do you think those girls have learnt their lesson?

Alero: Sincerely, I don't think so. Those girls are head strong.

Shilah: But Ellie is one person I think could repent.

Alero: I think so too. I always see the look on her face when Malory is being wicked. I don't think she ever really wanted to join her clique or even be her friend.

Shilah: Don't mind some people that don't have a say in their lives. Even though she didn't want to become her friend, she was still co-operating in their evil acts. Like when she joined Malory and Nancy to frame you.

Alero: (silent)

Shilah: Then not to even talk of that follow- follow called Nancy. Malory does not even like her but she is always all over her.

Alero: And Malory took advantage of that, by always sending her on errands all the time.

Shilah: One day, I overheard Malory call Nancy a parasite.

Alero: Those girls were just deceiving themselves that they were friends. When, Malory naturally hates everybody. It was obvious that Nancy only wanted to be close to Malory because of certain benefits and Ellie was just looking for a company of friends that will make her feel big.

Shilah: Can't you see that their friendship wasn't real and ended just like that?

Alero: You have a point! True friendship does not just end.

Shilah: I can't imagine the pain that they would feel when they repeat JSS 3.

Alero: Serves them right.

Shilah: When we resume the next academic session, I will pass their class before I go to ours. And parade my dark blue skirt in front of them, while they would still be wearing the light blue skirt since they're in the junior secondary.

Alero: It is not nice to laugh at people.

(Mrs. Williams then came into the kitchen)

Mrs. Williams: It's enough girls; you can go to bed now.

Alero: Good night, mum.

Shilah: Good night, mummy Alero.

(Lights out)
