(Miss Grace is seen entering the classroom with her usual long face, she was a middle- aged woman and not a friendly one at that)
Miss Grace: (yelled at the students before they could even think of standing up to greet) will you stand up and greet you children of baboons? Or do you want to start your afternoon trimming flowers?
Students: (Jump up abruptly in fear) Good afternoon, afternoon Miss Grace (said the confused students)
Miss Grace: I think you want to serve punishment this afternoon.
Students: Good Afternoon our dear Miss Grace (said the students in a louder and clearer voice)
Miss Grace: Better! Now sit down!
Alero: Is she always like this? (Asked Alero whispering)
Shilah: I tell you, she is in a good mood (she replied whispering)
Alero: wow!
(We were whispering because we did not want Miss Grace to catch us talking in her class. It was her number one rule! But unfortunately for us, no one could outsmart Miss Grace, she had ears like a bat. Her nickname for most of the students was 'The Bat- eared teacher'. I just came here and I already know, no one even dared to sneeze in Miss Grace's class)
Miss Grace: (turns to the class) who are those two fools talking in my class?
Students: (All point in the direction of Alero and Shilah)
Miss Grace: (notices a strange face) Are you a new student?
Alero: Yes, I am.
Miss Grace: (laughs sarcastically which made Alero a little scared) First day of school and you are already in trouble, what a bad omen! I will pardon you today but next time don't expect so. You too miss Nandom, sit down before I change my mind and God help you, if you talk again.
Shilah and Alero: (quickly sit down)
(Lights out)
