(Alero is about to go to school for her first year in Senior Secondary School when she takes a look at her brothers on their two weeks birthday)
Alero: Happy two weeks birthday, my lovely brothers. May God continue to grow you in knowledge and wisdom. (Sighs) It seems like yesterday when mum was screaming for pain because of you two. (Pauses to look at James on her right and John on her left). Look at you two handsome men, I have some advice to give you and I promise you that this would go a long way in your lives. Please, always be bold and confident in yourselves. Don't let people like Malory intimidate or frighten you. You are brave, intelligent and can be whatever you want to be as far as you put your heart to it. Take it from me; I am almost fourteen years in this world. I will miss you, I am off to school now to resume Senior Secondary School one. And just remember one thing, never be wicked to other people because there will always be punishment for it from man and from God. Take me as an example; I used to be shy and insecure. Malory thought she could take advantage of that but not withstanding she is going to find herself in JSS 3 again because of that single act. Yes her dad is a big and important man in the country but when God stood to fight for me, his riches and fame could only fetch him very little. Now, Malory, Nancy and Ellie are on probation and any little thing they do now will get them expelled. Sure, it is nice to be important but it is also important to be nice. That's what Malory failed to understand, please don't forget all that I have said this morning, and see you in the afternoon.
(Lights out)
