I yawned, stretching. I sat up from my soft bed and went to get ready for work. I wasn't a Pro, but I worked at an agency. I just had to radio the pros the weaknesses of their opponent. I rubbed my eyes as I walked into the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair.

"God, I hate Monday's!" I whined to myself, since I live alone. "Don't we all?" I jumped and whipped my head around to see Hawks standing in the doorway. He was known to randomly come over from time to time.

"Hawks! You scared the life outta me!" I complained to the bird-like male. He chuckled softly. "Sorry, didn't know you were so jumpy." He had his famous bright smile that he carried everywhere. He never lost it, even when he was with his closest friends and family. He never showed his true sadness when he had it, he only showed his toothy grin.

I sighed and continued brushing my teeth. Everyone knew I had a small crush on Hawks, besides him of course. He was just so fierce but friendly at the same time. Once you saw him you knew things were going to be ok.

I spit and rinsed my mouth before wiping all the excess water off. I turned back to the mirror and grabbed my brush/comb and started brushing/combing my hair. "I don't see why you put in so much work, you look beautiful when you wake up." I felt my face grow hot with embarrassment. I knew he was just trying to be nice, but hearing him say those things really made my happy.

I rolled my eyes and turned to him. "I look like trash when I wake up, don't lie." I said jokingly. His smile turned from toothy into just a warm smile. My face became even hotter seeing him smiling so genuinely at me. I smiled back and walked into the kitchen, Hawks trailing not to far behind.

"Did you get breakfast before you came over?" I asked turning to face him. He shook his head. "But don't feel the need to make me anything, I'll be fine." I rolled my eyes and began making omelette's for the two of us.

"I'm not just going to let you go hungry." I said giggling lightly. I didn't see it, but when I turned around to cook his smile lightened and a his cheeks became a light pink.

I cracked the two eggs into a small bowl and put some salt and pepper into it. I started to beat it and stopped when it was well blended. I started to melt the butter in my omelette skillet. When it was completely melted and covered the bottom, I purred the egg mixture in, which immediately set at the edges.

As I cooked it, Hawks began setting the table. He had been over so many times in the morning, he knew exactly what to do. After they were both cooked, I placed them on our respective plates. I passed Hawks his plates, and he gave me my glass.

"How's the spy mission going?" I asked. Hawks had been chosen to be the spy for the Pros. He joined the League of Villains and after everyday he would go back to our agency and tell us anything and everything he learned.

He shrugged. "They were able to connect and merge with the Shie Hissaikai, so now they're partners." He said annoyed. I giggled lightly. "You're doing a brave thing, and promise me you won't get hurt." I said, looking at him with concern laced in my eyes. He flashed me his famous smile. "I promise." I smiled back as he placed his plate and glass in the sink and headed out. "Gotta soar!" He said smiling back at me and taking off. I smiled and turned my attention to the dishes.

I turned on the warm water and let it run down the glasses as I grabbed a rag and put the soap on it. After I scrubbed them clean, I set them on the drying rack and let the water drip down them.
