Scrapped Chapter Comeback #2 1/2

(Y/N P.O.V)

I walked into the general studies room and took my usual seat. I could've made it to the hero course, but everyone along the way only talked down to me, making me only want to run away from everyone and everything, to just be alone for the rest of my life.

"Morning Shinso!" "Hey Shinso!" "Looking Good today Shinso!" Ever since the school made the announcement about his severe anxiety and depression everyone's been acting extremely kind to him, something I could only wish for.

He sat down tiredly in his seat behind me. I wanted to tell the school about my problem, but I was afraid nothing would change, or if it did; for the worse. I tapped my fingers on the desk, wanting to get the day over with.

Our teacher walked in, looking the same as always, meaning this was going to be a normal day- a bad day. "Ok class, I'm gonna need you to get with a partner!" The tapping on my desk quickened and my heart rate increased.

I quickly stopped when I felt a tap on my shoulder. "Do you want to be partners?" "A-are you sure you want to b-be with me, the person everyone make fun of?" Shinso gave a slight nod. "Positive." My face flush red and I nodded, notifying him I understood and accepted his request.

The teacher began passing out a piece of paper with multiple object names on it. "You'll be competing against one another along with 1-A and 1-B to see who can find all of their items first."

"Why are we doing this?" A girl ask. "To prove that you are all strong in your own ways, it may not be quirks, but other ways!" Thinking about it, no one in here has ever seen my quirk, and I planned to keep it that way.

We all got up and followed the teacher out of the room. I kept quiet as I walked alongside Shinso, everyone in the hallways waving and giving warm smiles as he passed, none of which seemed to help him any; just make him look worse.

We walked outside and saw the two other classes, they looked as if they knew we stood no chance. "Are your marks, get set, hunt!" Midnight cheered out. Me and Shinso looked down at our list.

"Bird feather?" I looked up at him, he just pointed towards the forest east of the school. It was clear everyone had the same list, because multiple people were chasing Tokoyami around while others ran into the forest.

"Do you have a quirk?" He asked glancing down at me. "Yeah, but I never use it, it's practically useless." "It's probably better than mine, I'm practically just a villain!" He seemed angry at the name he's called, though I've never seen him as a villain.

"People say that if I ever became a villain, hero's would just give up. My quirks called snatch, I basically have every quirk." I was trying to get the subject off of being villains, but what I said didn't seem to help.

His eyes were wide with amazement. "How'd you not make it into the hero course?" "I didn't try, people have talked down to me my whole life about everything, I just want to find someone who'll finally truly care, and I knew I wouldn't find that as a hero."

He nodded. "Hero's are respected though, so I've always wanted to become one." I nodded and gave a small laugh. "I have a summoning quirk, wanna just use it and get this over with?" He gave me a smile and nodded.

I summoned all the items on the list and we quickly walked back to the teachers. "Our first pair have completed the list! Y/N and Shinso from General Studies!" Present Mic announced to everyone around.

A few people ran back to see if we really had everything already, we did. I sat next to Shinso and watched everyone else finish running around and finding all the objects.

I ended up resting my head on his shoulder as he read a book I summoned for him. Apparently some of the items were supposed to be really hard to find, but we didn't know since we literally brought all of them to us.

"Alright everyone, it took you all course period to find all of these objects, besides you two, how?" I looked up from my heads resting place and Shinso also glanced up. "I used my quirk." Midnights Eyes lit up, She's the only other person to know my quirk, besides Shinso now.

"Finally! We need to get them to Hero Course right away!" She pointed at me and Shinso. I felt an overwhelming about of joy and happiness was over me.

I looked over at Shinso who had a shocked and confused face. I didn't know if we were gonna be in the same class, but I was hoping, he made everything worth it. He was the only one who could truly Hide my Pain and make me happy.

We left for the dorms to gather our things, we were most likely being switched between 1-A and 1-B, but I still had hope, though I knew I shouldn't.

I knocked on Shinso's door, telling him I was ready when he was to head over. He stepped out with all of his things. "Good luck in whatever class you get placed in, though I hope we get put together somehow." He rubbed the back of his neck with the last part.

"Me too." I replied quietly. There was a sadness that formed over us and hung in the air as we walked. That was until he reached down and grabbed my hand. My heart leaped from my chest, though I tried to hide it, but I was the happiest I've been in a while from the simple act.

We walked up to the teachers. "You two have both been placed in 1-A, Mineta has been temporarily kicked out due to his actions with the females in the class." My grip on his hand tightened excitedly. We thanked the teachers and quickly put our stuff in our respective rooms.

After all of my stuff was set-up and organized, I walked over to Shinso's room, which was in the same floor.

I knocked on the door softly and as it opened his arms around around my waist, pulling me inside. "I'm glad we got in the same class. You definitely deserve to become a hero, Y/N, don't forget that, no matter what anyone else says."

He kissed my forehead softly and walked me over to his bed. "Stay with me, please." I nodded, cuddling closer to him. "Good night, Shinso, I love you." I felt him tense up. "I love you too, Y/N."
