I slipped on my black leggings, pulling my skirt over them. I pulled the hanger out of the inside of my white sweater, quickly pulling it over my head and pulling my hair to the outside. I grabbed my tan, ankle boots and slipped them on.

I went into the bathroom and grabbed my brush/comb, quickly detangling my H/L H/C hair. I pulled some strands from the top and braided them, using two mirrors to see the back of my head as I worked my way down with the braid. When I was done, I tied it with a small band before flattening all of my hair.

I walked out of the bathroom and back into my room, grabbing my bag and slinging it over my shoulder. I left my room and finally headed towards the door.

I softly sang to myself as I left our small apartment building. The amber, gold, and coral leaves barely clinging in the slim, frosted branches of the trees. The cold autumn wind blowing strands of my H/C hair into my face.

The sizable Quercus-Suber tree stood proudly in the center of the cul-de-sac. The small oval of open land was littered in the fallen leaves, most crushed by the children who played there.

The wind whispered to me softly as I made my way down the color-filled streets of the early morning. My bag hit the lower part of my back rhythmically as the gates of UA came into view.

My heart pounded against my chest, slamming into my ribs. I felt like I was going to throw up or pass out, but at the same time I felt just fine. I gripped the strap of my bag, digging my nails into the padded material.

I stopped my soft humming and bravely walked through the arch of the school, finally entering school grounds. The first in my family to ever have passed that gate.

It felt as if a huge weight, a huge pressure, had just been lifted off my chest, allowing me to take in a full, steady breath of air. I released my iron grip from the strap of my bag, seeing the indents of my nails on the once smooth surface.

I noticed several other students had made it there before me, some were already hanging around a small group of, who I assumed to be, friends. I wish I could make friends that easily, but I knew it'd take me a while to even muster up the courage to talk to the faculty.

I watched as people showed off their quirk, I felt quite impressed with all of them. Mine seemed so out of place among these. Theirs could destroy solid ground, freeze in an instant, or even disrupt the gravitational pull on an object.

What could mine do-?

Well, I could heal any wound with the metallic white colored flames that erupted from my palms. They would cool or heat the skin where the wound was, dependent on what would make the injured feel better.

How'd I get in with this quirk-?

Apparently healing quirks are extremely rare, right next to teleportation quirks. They used to be quite common, but now they're in desperate need of healers. Apparently schools are fighting over enlisting them, everyone wanting a healing student. UA has had the best luck on this side of Japan.

I was pulled from my thoughts by a small shove to my side. "Are you gonna go or..?" There was a tall, thin male standing behind me. "Wh-what?" "The bell rang idiot." I practically took off running towards the entry of the school, not even stopping to thank the boy.

Once inside, I unfolded my scheduling and scanned over it, glancing up to see where I was. "Alright..." I started walking towards the large door with the number eight above it. "This should be Mr. Yamada's classroom..."

I placed my hand on the door handle, the cool metal twisted under the pressure and I slowly pushed the door open. A few students were already in their seats while others spoke in large groups. I saw the teacher, pro hero Present Mic, sifting at his desk.

I sighed in relief and stepped inside, pulling the heavy, wooden door closed behind me. Before I could hear the metal collied and click, someone's hand smacked the door in hopes of keeping it open.

I stopped pushing on it and stepped back. A short male with circular purple hair(?) walked in. He glanced up at me and smirked. "Thanks for holding the door cutie. Say, why don't cha sit with me."

He didn't say it as a question, instead he just grabbed my hand and pulled me behind him. He took a seat and motioned to the one next to him. I nervously and carefully pulled the seat out and sat down, just in time as the bell rang seconds later.

Present Mic, or Mr. Yamada, stood up and walked towards the podium front and center in the room. The fun sized boy sitting next to me glanced up at me several times throughout the class, as I took notes he'd just sit back and stare off into space.

After Mr. Yamada's entry lecture, everyone started packing up and getting ready for their next class. "Say, who'da you have next?" I didn't want to talk more than needed, so I just handed him my schedule. "We have all our classes together, it's like we're made for each other."

I felt my cheeks heat up, turning the color of coral. Instead of questioning anything, I just followed behind the small boy to our next class. As I followed behind him, a question was nagging at me. A few actually.

"So uhh, what's your name..?"

He turned around, a look of realization plastered to his face. "My names Minoru Mineta, and yours is?" "L/N F/N, feel free to call my Y/N." "Pretty name for a pretty girl~"

My cheeks deepened in color as we continued towards the next class. Another question smashed against my skull, begging me to ask him, but I didn't want to come off as rude or anything, especially on the first day.

I held it off, but it continued running through my mind a mile a minute. I gave a soft sigh, giving in to myself. "Hey uhh... Mineta?" "Yes?"

"How do you know where everything is? It's the first day..."

He let out a nervous chuckle, rubbing the back of his neck. "Well you see, I snuck in last night and memorized the bottom floor." I stopped following, causing his to stop and turn to me.

"It was a bad idea I know, but hurry up we have class to get to-!"

He grabbed my hand once again and pulled me to the next class. The day seemed to fly by as we went from class to class. Mineta made everything seem less scary, even talking to new people seemed easier with him around.

As the day neared it's end, the class everyone was excited for finally arrived. "I'm headed to 1-A cutie, you?" I felt my heart leap from my chest. I couldn't believe it.

I had every class with Mineta-!

"1-A as well-! I'm so excited, who do you think the teacher will be? You should already know since you snuck in, is it someone nice?"

I cut myself off, knowing that when excited I tend to talk too much. He chuckled softly. "I don't know the teacher, I just scanned the layout of the school."

I grabbed his hand and walking into the classroom, this time it was me taking the lead.
