I Do Like Him *Pick*

     It had to of been hours since I started working because I finished one video and finished about halfway with editing another when my phone started to go off. I looked at it for a minute confused for a second before realizing what time it was. I scrambled for my phone and saw that it was Kath texting me about what time we were going to the mall and what I was doing, Hell this girl actually asked if I was still alive. I immediately felt terrible and I texted her: 'I'm so sorry Kath!! I was working and I lost track of time...' I face palmed myself at my actions and I closed my computer, finding my wallet and a bag so I could put my things in a safe place. I heard the sound go off and I read Kath's message: 'it's ok babe! Don't worry just meet me downstairs in 5' I nodded to her text, texting back the ok and gathered my charger and anything that I could think that I would need.
     After fixing myself slightly, I headed downstairs, seeing Kath soon after hitting that last step. She was sitting on the couch on her phone, texting Marcus or someone, "hey!" I said slightly out of breath. She looked over at me and smiled, "god, are you ok?" She asked trying to hold back her laughs, but not her smile obviously... "yeah, I'm so sorry again..." I apologized and she shook her head, "it's really no problem, I've been there multiple times, ask Marcus," she said laughing at the moment and I tilted my head, making her elaborate, "I was late for a date that we were going on because I was editing and filming." I looked at her with raised eyebrows and a laugh, "no..." I said, my smile growing by the second, "yes..." she said, smiling herself. "Bloody hell," I said and she nodded, "anyways! No need to be sorry, let's just go so we can actually buy something before they close," she said gathering her things, her smile still plastered on her face. "Right..." I said, still trying not to be guilty, and grabbing a water bottle for the road. We were soon out the door and to the car without anyone noticing surprisingly.
     We arrived at the mall about three hours before it closed, however, Kath drove and I don't know if I'm more surprised that she didn't get a ticket or the fact that I'm still alive. If I knew another language, I would be screaming it in the car so that she wouldn't know what I was saying and so she wouldn't get angry. (If you do know another language, good for you for one and just pretend you did scream it in the car, it's funnier that way *wa wink wink*) We were at the closest mall that we could think of that was pretty decent and this was it. It was a more indoor mall however, it did have one food stand that would feel more like your outside. It almost seemed unreal it was so beautiful, not to mention the food was really good.
So, off we went to go and explore around the many different shops and stores that had pretty bomb clothes or had a clearance section because I'm as broke as a joke and I need to save some money for other important things. However, after some hardcore shopping, we started to get hungry and both agreed to eat over at the outdoorsy food stand. It was a bit of a walk, but it was well worth it as we both ordered some of the better items on the menus in our opinion. We sat and chit chatted about our channels and certain recent videos and trends that we've watched and thought of trying. That was until our food got here.
After our food had arrived, the waitress placed a flower in the middle of us as they did with everybody and told us to enjoy. We both thanked her and as I started to dig in, I noticed that Kath was staring at me. I finished my first bite of the food and relished the taste as I tilted my head with a look of confusion painted all over my face. "Are we just going to ignore the fact that you're tore between two guys or wait a little bit more and see what happens?" She asked in a more serious tone than what she usually sounded like. I was almost amazed at the sudden change, but I let out a bothered breath and nodded, putting my utensils ( if you were using any ) down onto the table.
     "But... how do we just talk about this...?" I asked her, yes, I felt desperate to get this over with because I didn't want to hurt the two of them, but it also quite an awkward topic to talk about. Before I could go on with my thoughts, Kath snapped her fingers, getting my attention, "what are you thinking about? I don't think we could figure this out if you don't speak what's on your mind," she explained with a kind smile. I nodded and took a breath, "I... I really don't want to hurt the guys... I've never really been in this situation before so, I have no clue what to do..." Kath nodded and stayed silent, letting me continue, "I mean Elliott and Cray are awesome guys but... I don't think I've thought of having a relationship with either of them..." I paused and thought for a moment, rechecking my memories, "Well... maybe Cray..." I muttered. Kath obviously heard that because a smile started to grow on her lips, "Well then, how do we feel about either of them? Like... Elliott, how do you think about him?" She asked, crossing her legs and pretends to have a notepad and pen like a therapist. I laughed at the move but, regained my composure playing along. "Well, Elliott's really nice and he's really thoughtful... I mean he's been making me breakfast lately and he helped me a lot with my hangover yesterday," I said and she raised an eyebrow, "anything else?" She asked peering over her pretend glasses. I thought and shook my head, trying my damn best to hold back a smile.
     "Well then, what about Nathan or as we all call him, Cray?" She questioned and I thought about my words, trying to pick where to start, "Well, Cray is... still a mystery to me somewhat. I mean, he has his fun and really happy side but, he also has a shy and caring side to him. He's... really sweet and a bit of a flirt, but that's what makes him... different...? Lovable...? I don't know..." Kath smirked and peered over her "glasses" once more, "lovable?" I immediately felt my face flush and shook my head, "a-as the fans would describe him!!" Kath pretended to write something down, nodding wishing for me to continue, "Cray just... he acts like he really cares and... I don't know if it's certain but, he seemed to really like me...? I- I don't want to jinx it or, like, say it's true without confirmation but, he really involves me in simple things, like going to the gym and visiting his stream."
     I explained further and she nodded, a bit of a smile showed on her face, "what?" I asked, "So, you know about the clips that I had taken when we went out?" I reminisced about the night together and I nodded. She had, indeed, taken clips of that night for her vlog channel, I had remembered her taking her camera out and videoing our car ride home. She smiled and pulled out her phone, going to her camera roll and to a clip of the dark night club we went to, "I accidentally videoed this and... I wanted to show you this," she gave me her phone and I played the video. Kath has pointed the camera to Cray and I when we were "dancing" with our drunk asses not too far away from the camera view. A smile formed on my lips as Cray pulled me close and I rested my head on his chest with my eyes closed. He then put his head on top of mine, he was taller than me, yes, but not by THAT much. As shown by him, going on his tippy toes to place his head on mine, making irl (in real life, if you didn't know) me smile more. He began to play with my hair, getting lost in a thought, making him look almost sober while the view seemed to zoom in slowly. However, he closed his eyes and placed a light kiss on the top of my head, whispering something that I couldn't quite make out. After that, Kath, in the video, squealed and shook the camera, turning it to her surprised face, the video then ending a second later.
I froze as Kath slipped the phone out of my hands and smiled. She then put it into her back pocket and put her head in her hands, staring towards me. We sat in silence as I got jumbled up in my own thoughts, he... Nathan or Cray or... whatever was into me??? Honestly, I had a feeling, but I didn't want to just prove my love for him then and there. I... I was just at a lost of words and we just stayed speechless for a couple of moments before Kath finally spoke up. "So... what do you think? I... haven't shown him the video, if that was a thought of yours," she said reassuring me, "I just... that... I..." I couldn't really place the right words together, leaving me to take a breath and look at her, "I just don't know what to say... but, he was piss drunk wasn't he?" I asked in which Kath nodded, "but, people are more honest when they're bloody wasted" she answered which brought me back to my silence.
We ended up talking more about it, getting to the point of, we picking the flower to see if I liked him and, ding ding ding! I did according to the flower, "see, it practically fate at this point," Kath teased with a smile and I shook my head smiling myself. However, that decision intrigued me, and it felt... right? I... didn't have anything against it, but it was only a flower right? It couldn't tell that kind of things... right? My mind boggled and tossed the idea like pizza before we were asked to leave because of the mall closing. We arrived back at the house with our bags and our thoughts. Kath has sent me off to rest, which I gladly accepted, and I got into my sleepwear and laid down, thinking just a bit more. I didn't even realize that I fell asleep or I had closed my eyes, but I was kinda glad that this day was done. Something told me that this wouldn't be the only incident this week...

There it is! Next chapter completed and almost back to its normal length! I hope this isn't a bad chapter, I messed some things up but, I at least hope you enjoyed it!
