Chapter 36

Charles's POV
As I stood there, I kind of felt bad. I knew I should go up there and check on her but just as I was about to, I got a text from Adam.
'Get here as fast as you can, the press is here.' I sighed, grabbed my jacket and my keys and went out. When I got there, there was a lot of reporters asking questions. I thought to myself, Natalie shouldn't have to go through all this, I have to do something. I took out my phone, while sitting in the parking lot and texted Adam.

'Meet me in the parking lot now.' He replied right away.
'On my way.' It took him about five seconds to get there, like he was already out here in the parking lot. And he wasn't alone, Michael was here too.
"Is there any way inside of the hospital without any of them seeing us?" I asked them. They both shook their heads no. I sighed, I guess there's only one way in and one way out.

"I'll go and talk to them. If they want something to talk about I'll give them something."
We all went up to the big crowd of reporters in front of the hospital.
'Charles, Charles what happened to Noah?! 'Was he kidnapped?!' One reporter asked.
'Or is he dead?!' A different reporter added.
That question was the one that set me off. I reached back and punched him.
"My son isn't dead you son of a bitch!" Michael grabbed me and pulled me inside while Adam handled the press.

I didn't want to leave, so I was fighting him while he pulled me inside. "Let go." I yelled at him as he pushed me inside of a medical room. "Fine, but do you think that being mad is gonna help you bring Noah home?" He yelled at me. I knew that he was right but the rage inside of me just wanted to punch the reporter one more time.
"Hey listen to me, I know that you might not like me very much but Natalie needs you. You can't help her and try to find your son if your locked up for assault. So you need to pull yourself together and calm down brother." His tone was rough, serious, and even threatening. Something you might want to know is that when Michael gets mad, there's nothing that can help him calm down.

I just sighed and nodded my head. He came and sat next to me. He put his hand on my neck so that I could face him. "Look, I might not have been there for you through everything but after all the bullshit you and I have been through, I want you to know that I'm here now.
I'm trying so damn hard to not beat your ass for acting out like that. You need to be the responsible one here okay? and not give up.
Natalie is up there and she needs you. Now get off your ass and go to her."
"Thanks Mike." I said laughing. He turned and punched me in the arm. He hated when I called him Mike, but he's my big brother, so I continue to do things that he doesn't like. And at the end of the day, he's always there for me when I needed him and I'm always there for him.

I got up and went to the 5th floor to see her and hug her.
