Chapter 37

Natalie's POV
I stood by Charles, watching the reporters on tv, outside the hospital, talk about different parts of the story of how Noah was kidnapped and them asking questions to anyone that came out the hospital.
"Can someone please turn it off." I said as Michael and Charles turned to see how mad I was. Michael went and turned it off. I took a deep breath and sighed.
"Why are we even here? Why aren't we at the police station doing something?" I say sighing.
"Natalie, the police are looking for him as we speak. All we can do is wait. We could talk to Barbara and see if she remembers anything else if you'd like?"
"No, if it wasn't for Barbara, we wouldn't be here in the first place. Noah-he...... he could be in his crib right now, sleeping. But no, he's missing because of her and I don't know what's happening to my son right now." At this point, I was the one mad at her this time. I was mad, angry and pissed at everyone. I sat down and put my face in my hands, trying to think of who could do this to a 9 month old baby.

"I'm so sorry, I should've just tried to find another way to take care of the fever." I turned to see Barbara behind me and I instantly felt bad. She heard what I said. "Barbara..... I'm sorry...... look I'm just...... I'm scared, anything could happen." She nodded her head.

"Barbara, Natalie is just scared for Noah, we all are. She didn't mean what she said." Charles spoke up.
"It's okay, I can't remember anything anyway."
"That's ok Barbara." I say giving her a small smile.

"Well it's a good thing that I have news then, good news." We all turn to see Elizabeth walking towards us with a yellow envelope.

"Gather around boys and girls." We all sit at a table. "What do you mean you have good news?" Charles asked her but she just rolled her eyes. "I hired a private investigator to do some digging on you and Barbara." I felt my blood boil. "You did what? Did you know about this?" I turned to Charles. "No...." he replied shaking his head."
"Well, I have some answers to your questions about who took Noah, so can you be mad at me later so we can find Noah now?" I huff and nod my head.
"Good." She replied as if she was the boss of me. "Here's everything I know. The private investigator found this person who he thinks was spying on Natalie and Barbara. He gave me her address and this picture." She showed us a photo of a girl talking to 4 guys.
"But why me, why go after Noah?" I ask confused.
Adam, Charles and Michael shared a look. "What is it?" I asked.
"The address......" Charles stops. "It's his ex." Michael finished his words for him.
"You think that one of your ex's has my son?" He doesn't answer. I huff.
"Well, I guess there's only one way to find out."

Adam, Michael and Charles stand up, about to head to the address, so I stood up as well. "You're not coming." He puts his arm out trying to stop me from taking another step. "First of all,  I was in the army. I can break your hands without even trying. 2nd, if that crazy women has my son, I'll be the first one to break her whole body. So 3rd, move aside Charles Braxton Calvin." I said loudly. He just stares at me and doesn't move, so I walk around him.
