Chapter 11 Cleaning up.

   Adam's Point of View

"Man this is bad. I mean bad bad. What were you thinking when punching a paparazzi in broad daylight? You've gone too far now."

"What did you want me to do, just keep on walking and let him call Natalie a hoe? I mean, I know I shouldn't have done that but I won't let some paparazzi just call her a hoe just because she's having my kid."

"Charles, you're a grown ass man! Words are exactly that, words. Your not supposed to let words get to you, your not a kid anymore. Now if he got in your face or touched Natalie, then that's one thing but you can't just go around punching people because they called Natalie a name. You're too grown for that man! Cmon now."

"Ok ok. You're right. I'm sorry. I just got so angry."
"I know, but now what if he sues you? What are you gonna do then?" I ask.
"Adam have you forgotten something? I'm the world's youngest billionaire. Besides, I have you to handle anything so if he sues me I can just pay him off." He says nonchalantly.
"You know I really hate you some times?" I say
"What are brothers for?" He says smirking
"Absolutely nothing." I say laughing
" Haha, now if you excuse me, I gotta umm, go to a meeting with Victor."

"Wait Victor, as in Elizabeth and Daisy's father?" I ask curiously.
"Yea, we have some business to discuss."
"But you hate him." I say confused.
"I know but it's important so wish me luck."
He leaves out and when the door was about to shut I yelled "Good luck!"

I'm still not done with work and it's late, so now I'm pissed because I was supposed to be eating dinner with Zoe hours ago. Instead, I'm still stuck in my office cleaning up the mess that Charles made. If you're wondering what I'm doing, I'm talking with the lawyer of the same paparazzi that Charles punched. It turns out that he is pressing charges and this son of a bitch is claiming that Charles broke his nose and that he is badly injured.

Sitting there furiously, Zoe comes in my office and just like that, all of my anger just goes way when I see my baby girl.

"Hey" She says quietly as she comes in the office.
"Hey."
She comes closer to me and sits on the table right in front of me.
"Look, I'm sorry I'm really-" she cuts me off before I finish talking.
"It's okay, really it's okay."

One thing about Zoe, and women in general, is that when she says 'it's okay' it means it's not okay and then if I don't do something to make it up to her she'll be mad at me. Women are so complicated.

"I know that look and I know what 'it's okay' means so just give me like five minutes to just finish this and I'll make it up to you."
"Okay....five minutes and that's it."

Finished with the lawyer of the paparazzi, we came to an agreement that Charles will pay him and that we'll cover his injuries.

"Ok, I'm done. Two options, one, I can cook for you or two, we can order takeout." I say grabbing my stuff and leaving the office.
"I'll take option one. Cook for me handsome."
We step into the elevator and all of a sudden she starts to kiss me.
When we reach our floor and head to the room, that's when I break the kiss.
"I thought that we were gonna cook Miss Zoe."
"We'll just cook later."
Once we were inside the room..... well you know what happened afterwords.
