Chapter 10 (The things we lost)

Charles POV
For the past few weeks, everything went from being okay to wow, I'm gonna be a father soon. Me and Natalie also finally picked a name for him, Noah. I'm so excited to be a dad, even though it isn't what I planned.What's done is done, we can't go back and redo what we did. Every time I'm with Natalie and he starts to move in her belly, it gets me all excited to just meet him already.

Today Natalie and I are going to the doctor to get another look at my little boy.
It's around 9 am and the day is just great. Elizabeth wanted to tag along and Natalie surprisingly agreed to let her come. We're just here for a normal check up and ultrasound scan to see the baby.

"Now if you look right there..." The lady says pointing to a spot on the screen. "You can see the head."
"He's so little!" I didn't think Elizabeth was gonna be this excited.
"So everything is fine right?" Natalie asks to just confirm.
"Yes, the baby is fine and he's healthy"

Natalie's Point Of View

"So have you named him yet?" The nurse asks curiously.
"Yeah we have." I said looking at Charles and smiling.
For some reason I felt bad for Elizabeth. I mean she was just sitting there in the Ultrasound room with the women who hooked up with her husband.

"So what's the name?" She asks again.
"Noah." I replied
"Beautiful name!" She said.
"Thanks, it took us awhile to decide but we finally found the one."
"So ummm, I know that Charles and Elizabeth are married, so who exactly are you?" The nurse asks suddenly.
"Umm, that's none of your business, just do your job." I say shocked.
"Are you their surrogate or something?" She asks completely ignoring what I said.
"I can't believe this, can you get out?!" I say angry and just completely shocked.
"Actually no but can I get an autograph?" She insists.
"I bet they'll be grateful to fire you." Elizabeth replies.
"You need to leave, now!" Charles finally steps in and says. The nurse leaves with a disappointed look on her face.

We leave the hospital and suddenly there were a lot of paparazzi out. They were asking if I was their surrogate or if he cheated on Elizabeth with me and why the hell she was with us if he cheated.

I'm so overwhelmed with all this, I could have a heart attack. I didn't know what to say, I mean I knew for a fact I wasn't his surrogate but I also knew that I was his one night stand.

On the way to the car, one of the paparazzis shouted out a question. 'Why did you cheat on Elizabeth with this hoe?' My whole body froze, but Charles didn't stop.

"What did you just say?" He asked furiously.
"Man it's just for the people, you know how it goes. They want to know why you cheated on Elizabeth with this hoe." The paparazzi replied.
"Well tell this to the people." Charles says just before he punches the paparazzi in the face. "This women right here, is the mother of my child and like it or not we're gonna have this baby. If you have a problem with it, come to me and this exact thing will happen to you. Yes I did cheat on my wife but I'm not the first man to cheat on their wife so deal with it."
