Last Summer - A Cameron Boyce FanFic (Completed)

Chapter 10.

I wake up in the morning surprisingly early due to Jess blow drying her hair. The moisturizer seemed to work & she looks fine now, allthough, she does still have some huge red spots around her, she might wanna avoid wearing a bikini for a while.

"Oh you're up!" Jess screams through her blow dryer.

"I had no choice, your blow dryer had other plans for me!" I scream back.

She turns off the blow dryer & places it in the washroom.

"I'm gonna go get some coffee, be right back. You want anything?" Jess asks.

"Nah, i'm good, i'm just gonna take a shower".

When Jess leaves the room, I get up to grab shampoo from in my bag but there's a sudden knock on the door in which I assume is Jess.

"What's the matter Jess? forgot your picking out coffee lipgloss?"

I go to open the door to find out it's not Jess...it's Cameron.

"W-w-w-what are you doing here?" I nervously ask.

"Well nice to see you too" he smiles.

"Um, it's just my cousin, she could be back any minute...and you know how she feels about you..."

He chuckles a little. "Don't worry, i'll be quick. I still get to leave with my face attached to my head before your cousin comes back" he jokes & I giggle a little with him.

"So what are you doing here?" I ask.

He nervously pushes his hair back & has one hand in the pocket of his sweatshirt.
"I-I just came to apologize...Brenna told us last night that she uhh...found you...which led me to believe that you were probably busy or something & she ambushed you in a surprised way".

I smile at his kind gesture. "Oh, it was no big deal, it did surprise me a little, I mean I was holding a sunburnt moisturizer when it happened out of nowhere but I guess what's done is done".

He sighs in relief. "Anyway, do you want to hang out today, I swear it won't be like last time & to be honest, I just kind of wanna get away from managers & tech guys".

"Sure, why not?" I giggle.

"Great!" he replies. "Meet me at WhirlPool Studios...at 12?"

I nod before he walks away luckily before Jess returns, but he better walk back out carefully incase Jess spots him.

I grab the shampoo I had placed on the bed before Cameron got here & head in the washroom for a long hot shower.

I want to see some cool places in Los Angeles & hope Cameron knows the best, I mean of course he does, he's lived here his entire life.

When I get out of the shower, I see Jess putting together some really expensive looking clothes.

"Jess? what are you doing? this is Los Angeles. You'll be sweating your dignity out wearing one of those".

She rolles her eyes at me. "This is called fashion. You wouldn't understand, i'm going to see if I can run into Cameron by walking on the streets!"

Cameron thought that Los Angeles is free of crazy fan girls...well he just got a new one here, arrived from Florida, orginally from Toronto.

I decide to ignore her obsession with Cameron & get dressed. I'm suppose to be casually hanging out with Cameron in less than 2 hours, what if Jess makes that difficult for him? I know a part of why Cameron loves Los Angeles so much is that there are no crazy fan girls running around. He just gets to be himself.
