Chapter 2.

I wake up in the morning completely drenched, my eye lids are drooping & sleep snaps open as violetly as if I have been woken up by getting dropped in the ocean. It takes me a second to jump back into reality & I see my cousin standing over me with an empty bucket that I suppose had water in it.

"Wake up sleepy head, you're coming with me to go shopping!" she demands.

I try to ignore her & stuff my face in my pillow but she grabs me & makes me turn back around facing her.

"What!" I scream.

"You have to come with me shopping! you need a new outfit & I need new shoes for the show tonight!"

She can not possibly think that I care about how I dress does she? I could wear pajama's & still not care, heck that's easy, if we come home late, I can just crash on the bed without having to change.

"I don't need a new outfit, now let me go back to sleep!" I grab the blanket & put it over me, it may be a little uncomfortable because my hair is soaking along with my clothes but I don't care, i'm tired.

Just as I thought she would stop bugging me & leave my room, she yanks the blanket off of me & starts picking me up.

"Hey what-what are you-put me down!" I yell as she carries me to the washroom.

She doesn't say anything, she just opens the washroom door & practically throws me in there, luckily I land on my feet.

I guess I have no choice now. I decide to brush my teeth, take a quick shower & get into some comfortable clothes & as soon as i'm done, my cousin is already sitting on the couch in the living room waiting for me.
"Finally you're here! c'mon it's already 12:30 & I wanna be back in time to see the interview Cameron did this morning on the TV & have enough time to get dressed!"

I roll my eyes & proceed to walk out the door.
When we get in the car, Jess informs me that my parents are still at my brothers college & to not wait up for them. My parents are barely home that I kind of gotten used to it so it doesn't really suprise me.

The ride to the mall is suppose to be 5 minutes but Jess brags that the one 30 minutes away is much better & has more glamorous things so she has to drive all the way to a mall 30 minutes away & hearing her sing loudly to the radio is annoying at first but then I get a laugh out of it. Jess may be annoying & quirky most of the time but she's also demanding & fun.

When we arrive to the mall, it's bigger than I expected it to be, the whole mall is basically Jess' Territory.

"C'mon!" she squeals & rushes into the mall while I linger behind her.

She rushes to every store & I can barely keep up so I go my own way & just explore the huge mall.

I see a sneaker store that seems to catch my eye & walk inside. The very handsome worker comes over seeing me eye some pretty cool Geox high top sneakers & informs me that they're on sale. I end up purchasing them for only 60 dollars which is a good price considering how beautiful they are.

"Thank you" I say to the cashier as she hands me my bag. When I get outside of the store, I feel my phone buzzing, I take it out of my back pocket to see that it's Jess. I really want to ignore it but I can't, she's my cousin & I know for a fact she's not done shopping.
"Hello?"

"Where are you?" she screams through the phone.

"Just bought some sneakers why?"

"Sneakers? why can't you wear heels for a change?!" she sounds disapointed that I would rather wear sneakers than heels.
