Chapter 5.

I've been sitting on the ledge in front of this huge window for about 5 minutes now & I have a feeling that Jess, Jen & Cass aren't gonna wanna go home until Cameron is done all the autograph signing & there's a lot of people down there. At this rate, he'll be here til' 2am, but it's still a long time til the day's over

"We meet again"
I turn around to see Cameron walking towards me, it doesn't scare me like first time we ran into eachother, mainly because it's still daylight out.

I jump off the ledge & just stand there with my back pressed against the wall & my feet crossing eachother as he walks towards me.

"We keep meeting like this" he laughs.
I don't really know what to say, I still get awkward in situations like this but i'm not a crazed fan like Jess is so it should be easy for me to talk to him.

He comes closer & jumps up on top of the ledge & has his back against the window.
"So what are you doing up here alone?" he asks.

I sit up with him. "I should ask you the same thing, shouldn't you be signing a bunch of autographs?"

"Just on a little break, needed some alone time out of a crowded room" he sighs.

"Same...although I came here 5 minutes before you, so you kind of interrupted my alone time" I joke & he laughs with me.

"This is the quietest floor in the whole mall, there's no stores, just a bunch of windows & a lot of walking areas. It's the perfect place to be alone"

I smile at his words because he is so right, although why do they have an empty floor in such a big mall without stores but only windows?

"So I take it the girl wearing your leathered pants & sneakers is your cousin?" he casually says. He has me suprised. "How do you-"
He stares at me with a trusted look. "You were wearing that just last night, I remember".

I don't know what suprises me more, the fact that Cameron Boyce remembers the small encounter we had last night or that he remembers which shoes I was wearing.

Cameron's phone starts ringing & he answers it while his voice echoes the quiet room. I can only hear his end of the call. "Hey. Yeah. No. I leave tomorrow. Yeah. Haha Bye" When he puts his phone back in his pocket, he says "That was Dove, I have a press conferance meeting with her & the cast on my upcoming movie in los angeles tomorrow". I smile & continue to sit next to him. When he talked about his upcoming movie, I find it even more weirder than before that i'm actually sitting next to a hollywood star, having a normal conversation.

My phone starts buzzing & I check to see a messege from Jess. "Hey, Cameron left on break like forever ago so we're leaving now" I'm about to answer the messege until Cameron says "So Harley, do you want to hang out for the rest of the day? after i'm finished signing a few autographs of course".

I have a choice to make. Hang out with Cameron or a girl who basically makes me be her slave? I choose Cameron. He seems like a normal dude to be hanging out with & there's no harm done. I messege Jess back "actually, I think i'm gonna stay for a bit, I found a new sneaker store at the top floor, i'll take the bus home." I look back at Cameron & say "Sure, why not?".

"Great, i'll just go finish signing some autographs & we can go out back. It's my last day in Florida & I wanna have some fun" he gets off the ledge & we both walk to the elevator.
