I can't believe Cameron had just talked to me, i'm not a fan of him but there was a time that I was. I grew up watching him on my screen back when life was so simple but that was 8 long years ago. If Jess was in my position, she would scream his ears off.
"Hello?" he says, knocking me out of my thoughts. I look back at him, casually.
"Do you want me to show you the washroom?" he continues. His smile is big & bright & he does have a lot of freckles on his face. Everyone seems to go crazy for them.
"Yeah, thanks." I finally reply.
"Follow me" he smiles.
I follow him to the elevator & I can't help but think that the first thing we talk about is the washroom, but he seems nice & doesn't care about how awkward it is."So did you like the show?" he says, pressing the button for the elevator.
"It was okay..." I honestly reply but he doesn't seem offended.
"Concerts aren't your thing?" he smiles trying to get words out of me.
I feel so awkward in this situation because this is the guy every girl goes crazy for & here he is, acting just like any other human being just as I thought he would.
"No...well...my cousin made me come..."
I try not to make eye contact with him."Your cousin? well where is your cousin now?" he smiles.
"Downstairs. Rewatching the videos she took at the concert, over & over again." I try not to have a sarcastic tone but it just comes out like that, I hear him laugh a little under breath.
He looks at the elevator & tries to push the button multiple times "Damn. This elevator takes forever to open".
I laugh a little at the way he looks impatient & try to cover it but he notices.
"So incase you don't know my name...i'm Cameron & you are?..." he smiles knowing I would know his name but it's nice to know that even if he's famous & his name is worldwide, he would still introduce himself.
"I obviously know your name" I smirk. "I grew up watching you, I think everyone here grew up watching you" I point out. "Oh & i'm Harley by the way".
"Like Harley Quinn?" he jokes.
I decide to joke with him. "I don't know, maybe my parents had watched her on tv right before they had me".
He lets out a little laugh & the elevator eventually opens. "Finally" he says under his breath.
Being in the elevator seems a little awkward at first but him making conversation makes up for it.
"So what would you have doing tonight instead of being here with your cousin?" he asks.
I try to answer honestly. "Well...I had this whole summer planned out with my friends...but even they're saying that seeing you live in action is a huge deal."
He smiles his huge friendly smile. "Hope I didn't bore you up there".
I giggle a little. "No, I think you got skills".
The elevator finally opens & I follow him straight into the hall. It's all empty & a little dark due to it being late but Cameron seems to know what he's doing.
It's really quiet & all that's heard is the sound of our footsteps.
"Here we are" he stops right in front of the womens washroom.
"Thanks" I say before heading in.
"Anytime"
I watch as he disappears into the hallway. After I had used the washroom, I check my phone & see a messege from Jen. "How was the concert? did you record everything? I need details". I decide to ignore it for now until I see her in the morning & scroll up to see a messege from Jess. "Where are you? i'm waiting for you in the car!" I turn my phone off hoping i'll find my way back outside. I just retrace my steps & start by going back into the elevator.
