Chapter 14.

I didn't get any sleep at all last night. I kept thinking about the fight I had with my brother, I mean we had fights before but not like this & I hate the fact that he wasn't on my side about it.
Rose is really drifting this family apart & i'm just sitting here & letting her. I don't know what else to do, the damage is already done & all I had to do was speak up for it to go all wrong.

This leg stills kills me but i'm thankful for the wheel chair so I can get dressed around the room faster without having to put pressure on it.
I have to take a shower with the cast on, which is worst part because it feels so uncomfortable.

"Hey girl" Jess says, entering the room.

I'm on my wheel chair with a glum face looking out the window thinking about all the stuff I could have done without this cast on or if everything with my brother were to be different & he belived me instead of that wicked witch of the west.

"Hey..." I say with my voice low, hearing the depressiveness in my own tone.

"Do you know what's wrong with Logan? I asked him myself but he just told me to ask you & walked away awfully harsh" she asks.

I roll my eyes & sigh. "Just...a little brother sister disagreement...no biggie" I kind of lie.

Jess seemed to believe me but then my mom barges in. "What did you say to Logan & Rose?!"

I already feel scared in my moms tone & Jess just stands there awkwardly, not knowing what to do.

"W-what d-do yo-u mean?" I stutter.

"Logan told me that he told you he wanted to marry Rose & you told the poor girl off! this isn't like you Harley. The Harley I know would be happy for her brother even if there's a reason not be. There's nothing wrong with Rose & I don't know why you think there is. She's marrying Logan & you just have to accept it. There's no harm done to you at all!" My mother screams.

Her yelling sends dead cold shivers through me. I turn to Jess & even she felt it, even though the yelling was towards me.
I hate how she said "There's no harm done to you" I mean the harm has already been done. I'm in a cast because of her for gods sake! & she's threaten to send me to a mental insistution. I thought I had more time but hearing my mom yell at me, tells me otherwise. 

"Now I want you to apologize to Rose & your brother!" she continues. "Rose is a good girl, she's smart, beautiful & absolutely perfect for your brother".

I want to cry, scream & throw hands all at once but I choose against it. If my family won't believe me, i'll just wait til' i'm 18 so I get to live on my own & by then & she can't do anything.

When my mom leaves the room, Jess turns to me. "Wow. She's really mad. Not a brother sister disagreement at all".

I just look at her with an angry face.

When she finally leaves the room, I take a huge deep breath.
I can't believe all that had just happened. Logan & my mom really are under a huge deep spell caused by Rose. Next thing you know, my dads going to yell at me for not being her bridesmaid. This whole thing just blowed up in my face & there's nothing that I can do about it, I guess the worst is done.

I suddenly get knocked out my thoughts by the sound of my phone ringing. I roll my wheels over to the dresser that I had left my phone at & grab it. "Blocked number?"
I decide to slide open it & answer.

"Hello?!" the other line yells.

"Hi...?" I respond.

"Search up BC news right now!" the guy tells me.
