I can feel myself awake but i'm too lazy to actually get up.
We got to the apartment pretty late last night & I just love how this mattress feels against my skin. I can lie here for hours, years even.

"Harley!"
I hear Cameron yelling.

"Harley?!" he yells again.

I mumble under my breath & crash more into the pillow.

"Harley!" he screams even louder.

"What?!" I yell as i'm faced flat on the pillow.

"Manager wants us at the studio!"

"Ok..." I yawn, still half asleep, not moving from my position.

"So you coming?" he asks.

"Maybe...or maybe I can just pretend that this is all a dream" I say, as I pull the blanket from my feet all the way up to my neck.

"Don't make me get the hose" he chuckles.

I suddenly get up, extremely scared. "I'm up! i'm up, don't worry, i'm up!"

He looks at me confused & then starts laughing. "I was kidding".

I wipe my eyes. "Sorry. Force of habit. You have no idea how many times that has happened to me..."

I pull the blanket off, put my hair in a ponytail & head for the shower.

"We have to be there in 20 minutes" I hear Cameron yell as I enter the washroom.

I take a quick shower & use a really good soap that smells amazing & smoothens my skin. Famous people really do have all the best products.

On our way to the studio, Cameron turns on the radio to a really good song that I can't help but sing along to, I mean, I think we're in this point of our "friendship" where I can sing in front of him & not embarrass myself.

"You like this song?" he asks.

"I like a lot of songs, this just happens to be one of them" I answer.

"Something we have in common" he smiles & turns up the volume to sing along as well.

Our voices sound so good together, it's crazy.

When we arrive to the studio, his manager is wearing a headset & seems to be talking to people through the microphone of it.

"Ok good you guys made it" he says, taking off the headset.

"What did you need to see us for...this early in the...afternoon..." Cameron says, checking his watch & I giggle a little.

I hadn't even realized it was afternoon already, I woke up just 20 minutes ago & I still feel so weary.

"I have a new project for your little publicity stunt" his manager announces.

A new project? I hope it's something easy. I don't want to have to prove myself to be something more any longer.

"What's the new project?" Cameron asks.

"It's a simple one...you guys are going to have to go on a fake date!" his manager replies.

A fake date? really?
I guess it'll be okay even if we go out to dinner or see a movie. I mean it doesn't really have to involve a lot of effort if we aren't really dating.

"Let me guess, the paparazzi will appear at the scene of the date & snap pictures for the next mornings article?" Cameron chuckles.

His manager nods & lets us know all of the details.
It has to be super formal, at a fancy restaurant & we have to sit in the middle where a bunch of windows would be located to the left, which is where the paparazzi will spot us & we have to dress appropriatly, super fancy.
I assume, once again...the studios stylist & designer are going to dress me. I just hope the heel they give me is not too big.
He also tells us that we should start getting ready now so we look appealing enough in public, which I assume is people are going to have to see us as "a famous rich" couple who's so much different from anyone else when that's not the case at all, this publicity stuff is really getting out of hand but it's the price I have to pay. I did agree to it & sign contracts.
