Chapter 9.

I was crazy for thinking that Cameron & I wouldn't run into eachother on this trip but how was I suppose to know that random worldwide celebrities roam the streets of Los Angeles like it's no big deal? I find it very strange that they don't have security with them but i'm probably just thinking it's like the movies when it's not. Maybe Los Angeles is where most people get noticed so it's normal for them?

"Harley?" Cameron says, knocking me out of my thoughts.

"Oh...Cameron...hey..." I try to act casual but at this point, I forget how.

I hope he doesn't think I followed him here.
My overthinking is getting the best of me. Why on earth would he think I followed him here?C'mon Harley, keep it together.

"What are you doing here?" he smiles coming closer.

His expression is normal. Has he heard the news? of course he's heard the news.
It probably doesn't bother him as much as it bothers me. Like I said before, he's probably used to this stuff.

"Oh me?...just here on family vacation..." I try saying calmly.

It shouldn't be this hard for me to talk to him, I mean I spent half a day with Cameron & had fun & now it's like this is my first time meeting him & i'm nervous which is not the case at all.

He sighs & puts his hand through his hair. "Listen...I-I tried getting a hold of you...but didn't know how". His eyes narrow the room & then back to me.

Did he really try getting a hold of me? probably about the pictures that leaked the internet.

"Oh?" is all I manage to say.

"Yeah...I need to talk to you..."

My heart literally stops for a second. I thought I would never have to have this conversation. Ever. My chances were pretty high at it because Cameron is a huge star & i'm just a normal girl so I thought news like this would just blow over & people would start to obsess over something else by now, clearly I was wrong.
I just hope he doesn't think it was my fault, I mean people don't even know that it was me in the picture.

I take a few deep breaths & let Cameron continue. "I'm sure by now...you saw the pictures online..."

I make an awkward face & just nod slowly.

"Well...I need to talk to you about that".
He seems nervous as well but he doesn't seem like that type. Most of the time he's just laid back & chill.

"So can we talk...? after I finish my interview?" he laughs realizing he has to get back in there.

I assume he stepped out for a bit to catch some fresh air & that's when he saw my out here. Probably a huge coincidence that I happen to be standing out here the same time he comes out.

I laugh a little & say "Sure".

"Would you like to come into the studio? it'll only take 30 minutes" he says, gesturing to the building I was admiring only 10 minutes ago.

I decide to agree & wait for him to finish his interview.
When I walk inside of the studio, it's huge. I hadn't expect it to be small but it's bigger than what I had imagined, especially bigger than what it looks like from the outside.
There's camera's set everywhere & wires almost all over the area of where the interview is being held. There's also a dessert table at the back & a lot of high tech people. I always watch these interviews with Jess & what it looks like in real life is nothing compared to what it looks like on tv.

There's a huge set up of couches & a table with a beautifully patterned carpet on the floor & a green screen in the background. I never would have thought that most of it is fake & the setting inside the interview is just a setting & nothing more.
