Chapter 23.

I wake up with the apartment completely empty. The last thing I remember from last night is falling asleep on Camerons shoulder at the premiere which I cringe at just thinking about.

I leave my phone on the kitchen counter as I go to make some coffee.
When I walk towards the fridge, I see a note stuck on there.

*Hey, I will be out all day due to crazy stuff but hope you enjoy your day without the spotlight! PS. Hope you enjoyed sleeping in! - Cameron*

I assume Karan & Sophie went with him because the apartment is completely empty.
I put the note back on the fridge & continue making coffee. I stop at the sound of my phone ringing.
I walk over to the counter to grab it & without checking who it is, I answer it.

"Hello?" I say, with tiredness still in my voice.

"Did you just wake up sleepy head?!" the voice on the other line says.

"Oh my god, you're in Los Angeles, the greatest city in the word & you decide to sleep in?" another voice says.

"Who is this?" I ask.
I can't recognize the voice due to the sound quality.

"It's Jen & Cass...Duh!"
"You're in Los Angeles for about a month & have already forgotten about us?!"

I suddenly jump up in surprise. "OMG JEN & CASS?! I was hoping you guys would call at some point, why haven't you?!"

I hear Jen sigh over the phone. "Well...you see, since you went to Los Angeles & weren't coming back, after your family did, it was Cass' crazy idea to travel to a few places...we had no reception for a while &...long story short...-"

"WE'RE IN LOS ANGELES!!!" Cass screams through the phone.

What? did she just say they're in Los Angeles?

I get so confused. "What do you mean you're in Los Angeles?"

"We mean, we're in Los Angeles the city, try to keep up, silly!" Cass says, through the phone.

"We're actually outside of the hotel you were supposedly staying at...but the guy at the front desk didn't have your last name on his list" Jen tells me.

I giggle a little. "Well that's because I can't stay there alone without my family. Stay there! i'll come pick you guys up!"

"Ok...?" Jen says before I cut the phone.

"Bring a toilet with you, I need to pee" I hear Cass say as the phones cuts.

That girl is...sometimes...so...weird & dumb but in her own unique which I guess which is kind of cool.

When I reach outside of the apartment, I realize I have no transportation whatsoever so I guess my only bet is to run all the way to the the side of the hotels.

I'm lucky I grabbed my strong sneakers because the hotels isn't all that close if you have no transportation. I could take a bus but my money isn't on me right now.

I start running across the streets & parking lots.
I take a bunch of short cuts & surprisingly, I know where everything leads to & is located.

I'm shocked at the realization that i'm running out breath so fast that i'm gonna start panting later but I just continue running.

When I see the hotel from a distance, I run faster knowing i'm almost there.
Times like this, I wish I had learned how to drive...& had a car.

"JEN! CASS!" I yell as I run closer.

They turn around to me running towards them & get excited.
