Kris slowed his motorbike at the front yard. He kicked the kickstand out and slipped the key out of the ignition. He looked upon the house. He could still remember the first time he set foot on the yard, the first time he went to school. The first time he brought Susie over. It'd taken every ounce of him to not shed a single tear when he thought of that name. He ultimately had realized what he'd done, ditching everyone. He kept saying that it was to save everyone, including her. But by then, he knew he couldn't forgive himself for it.

He got off the bike and walked toward the door. He was anxious to see them again, so he didn't waste anytime left. He knocked on the door. He waited patiently at the door as he heard someone coming closer. The door opened to reveal her.

Toriel. She wore her natural attire, and she had the look of impatientness in her eyes. Although she didn't show it on her face, he knew her long enough to know her. She suddenly saw Kris, and death tackled him in a hug. Now he knew he had to be suspicious. She let go.

T: My, how much you've grown!

K: It's been a long while. Too long.

T: Tell me. What brings you here?

K: Why, to see my favorite mother! And because I was told Susie's here.

Toriel had a look of happiness but then worried. She stepped out of the way so Kris could walk in. He walked in, the familiar and nostalgic scent of butterscotch and cinnamon filling the room.

K: Home. Finally.

Tori closed the door.

T: She's in your room. I'm baking a pie, she needs it.

K: Good choice.

T: But most importantly, she needs you, Kris. Go to her, you're her only hope.

Kris knew this. And now that he was there, he could finally do it..

(Can we just start calling Toriel, "Cinnamom?" lol.)

(Also, has anyone actually tried the pie? I'm legit curious.)
