Kris, Ralsei, and Group 2 sneaked towards the back of the Castle as silently as they could. Kris went faster then the others to make sure the coast was clear. Once they got to the back door, they silently broke the lock and went inside. The floor looked pretty empty to sneak through. They'd have to go to the front doorway to let Group 1 in. They walked towards a nearby elevator. They got in, and looked for the button labeled J. They pushed it, and down they went.
Kris looked to Ralsei, who was deep in thought. Finally, he got the courage to say:
K: How many people were there then they were killed.
R: I...don't know. I lose track.
A soldier hearing this, spoke:
S: 26.7 thousand.
K: Huh.
R: What, you're not gonna say anything?
K: No. In fact, I guess that's what we have in common. We've both lost people.
'And we're trying to take it all back'
R: Woah. I'm sorry to hear.
K: Don't be. It all happened so long ago that I've lost count.
R: How can you?
The elevator was filled with silence.
K: I don't forget, Ralsei. It's just painful to remember. They were innocent, and they were taken from this world. This world, where no peace is found for the people like us.
Ralsei could've stared at Kris for hours. He found that he could relate to him so much it made sense. Kris, although, wanted to change the subject.
K: Your parents. What were they like?
R: They were good people. One time, we walked outside and picked up flowers from the garden. Then, we baked cakes after.
The elevator gave a ding to signal their arrival. The door slid open to see the cell.
K: Don't worry. We'll kill the king, and then you can shape this kingdom in your eye.
The group walked to the cell. The bars were old and rusted, a small spade carved in. This was definitely the cell that he was in. The two were sure of it.
R: Hello Jevil. It's us again. We want to talk.
No answer. Maybe they had to force themselves in. Luckily, Kris still had the key to they cell. He unlocked it, and they all shuffled into the cell.
S1: My god. What happened in here?
K: Hell. The devil got to play with us.
R: Lucky that we survived.
J: True. Where would you be if I hadn't played nice?
A figure formed in front of the Group. They couldn't mistake it for anything else. The figure walked into the light and revealed itself.
J: Did you miss me?
K: Even after the fight, I still flinch when something appears in front of me.
J: Guess I left an old fighting strategy.
K: Well, I'll give you that.
J: Anyway, why have you come here?
R: We're in danger. We need your help.
The devil was taken back by these words.
J: Well, I'm not planning anything, so if I must, then I will.
