Chara stood there, freezing Kris and Frisk in their spots.
C: Been a long time since you've seen me, Kris. How long has it been? 6..7 years?
K: Not long enough, I'll say that.
F: Alright, what is it now?
C: Oh, Frisk. You've changed so much. I can remember when we first met. You were nine, right?
Frisk just stared. She never told Kris about her origins, but he never wanted to ask. Whenever he brought it up, she'd never answer or simply ignore the question.
F: Yes. And I was dumb to have trusted you.
Kris turned his head to Frisk while Chara simply smiled.
C: I happen to be a good master of puppets. After all, why do you think THEY died?
Kris stopped in his tracks.
K: What?
C: Oh Kris. You surely aren't that dumb. The reindeer would never kill anyone. Even if it was for you. No. I pulled the strings, Kris. I took control of her and killed them. It was easy, since the bitch was weak from you. I also took control of your friend and took the photos. I kept to my word.
Kris didn't move. He couldn't even think or feel.
F: If that's the case, what about Susie? Why didn't she die?
C: The deer took part control. I shot, and she pulled the arm away. I knew then that I couldn't stay in the body, especially considering that Kris would be on his way.
K: So...I killed someone...innocent?
C: And you lived with that for years. Though, I will give you credit. Because of you, I can never return to that world. It'd simply kill me.
F: Oh?
Chara glared at Frisk.
C: What? What have you done now?
F: With the power that you gained from the destroyed timelines and the power you're collecting from this burning dimension, it should melt down.
C: I'm close to breaking, but not quite there. I'm on the line.
K: Not if I can help it.
With that, Kris ripped Frisk's Line Hopper from her wrist and clicked the buttons to return to his home timeline. He slammed the button to transport, and grabbed Frisk's wrist. The world was about to shift. But before they could, he dashed forward and grabbed Chara's wrist. They were suddenly plunged into deep blue...
The three ended back into the Hometown. Chara fell to it's knees onto the pavement.
C: What have..you...done?
K: I'm killing you. And you deserve every bit of it.
Chara slammed it's fists onto the ground. Chara started trembling.
C: No...not here..
Chara locked eyes with Kris.
C: ...you..sure are...a violent thing...
K: I know. But now it's done. It all started with you. And now it ends with you.
Chara finally fell to the ground. The body slowly uneased and turned to ash. A small patch of the green sweater was left behind as the ash was blown away in the wind.
F: You did it. You avenged everyone.
K: I haven't done shit. Not yet.
He turned to her. He held out the Line Hopper.
K: It has a reset button, right?
F: Yes.
K: How far back does it go?
F: To the first time you entered the Dark World.
K: Will Chara be alive?
F: Nope. It's death has echoed all throughout time and space.
K: And will anyone remember this?
F: Nope. Just you and me.
K: Well then...
He opened the latch.
K: It's time to do this again. One last time.
His eyes layed upon a large yellow button on the panel. He pressed it, the world around him slowly fading into white. He closed his eyes, smiling...
