After they ate their slices, they set the plates on the counter. Kris didn't want to leave, but he needed to save them. Kris finally spoke up.

K: Well, as much as I want to stay here, I gotta meet up with the others.

S: Do you really have to?

Kris grabbed her hand.

K: Really. I gotta see how they all are.

S: Well...

Susie grabbed Kris and held him close to her. She locked eyes with him. Their hearts beated closely together. They eased closer, kissing close to each other. They could've stayed like that forever if time prevailed. Suddenly, there was a flash behind them. They disconnected as they saw. Toriel was there with her phone in her hand.

T: Oooohh. That's definitely going up.

They both chuckled. Susie let him go.

S: I'll leave you to them.

Kris noticed a tone of sadness in her voice.

K: Don't worry. I'll come straight back here when I'm done.

Susie grinned from ear to ear. With that, Kris walked to the door. Susie turned away.

K: Hey.

Susie turned back around.

K: I love you.

Susie heart skipped multiple beats.

S: I love you too.

Kris smiled as he opened the door and went outside. There, Frisk stood by the fencepost.

F: Ready?

K: Nope, but I'll do it.

He walked to Frisk. She rolled up her sleeve. On her wrist, a brown leather cover was shown. It was burnt and old, and two gold buttons that clipped the cover had been melted all over the cover. She opened it, a silver oval with grey buttons and a light was revealed. It wasn't new to Kris, as he had to use it multiple times.

K: Line-hopping?

F: The control panel has broken, so I had to resort to this.

K: What happened to it?

F: Chara used the energy against me. Fried the engine.

K: Where is it hiding now?

F: Dimension 001-098 in the Pantheon line.

K: Huh. The oldest one in the whole multiverse.

F: The energy dump of the multiverse.

Frisk clicked 7 buttons and pressed a button on the bottom right of the contraption. With that, the world around started turning. It slowly devolved into a mix of blue and black. They held onto each other's sleeve. The world finally slowed down into a world and black and maroon. A strong wind was heard, but there was no gust to throw them off. The world had finally stopped. There were large rusted beams, and the ground has consisted of ash. It made Kris sick to the stomach even thinking about it.

F: Now, it hides anywhere, so be on your guard.

Just then, a small laugh was heard from everywhere.

F: Or not.

Ash in front of them started swaying. It turned into a tornado of ash. When it settled, a figure appeared. An all too familiar figure with a green and yellow striped sweater. A figure of blood red eyes and a sense to kill everything in it's path. A figure that would destroy every world in it's path.

K: Chara.

C: Hello again, Kris.
