"What are you doing here?"
"Do you not answer your phone, Emma? I've been worried sick when you wouldn't answer!"
He tried to give me a hug, but I pushed him back.
I notice he glances around and sees my bags."You're leaving early? What about the next two days we planned?"
As I start to well up with fresh tears "you can spend them with your girlfriend Kenzie." I grab my bags and push past Eli.
"Come on, Em you can't be serious! She is my ex who happens to be friends with Gracie and Ruby! You've got to believe me."
"How can I? You even told me how you thought she was the one at the beginning of your relationship with her until the end. You said take it one day at a time and I did and it turned out the way you knew it would. With Kenzie."
I could see the hurt on his face. "You know what, you're right. This was all a ploy to get you to think a man treats a woman the way you were with me. The whole game was to make you think that just to sleep with you and leave with Kenzie. I just used you." I slapped him across his face and leave the hotel.
I hear Eli shouting for me wanting to apologize. I already flagged down a cab and got my luggage in the car and begged the driver to get out of here as fast as he could.
