suffering from anxiety herself, she knows how shitty panic attacks can be. when neil had one of his worst attacks, gwen noticed him hyperventilating n' shaking uncontrollably while muttering words to himself. she pulled him to the side n' talked him through it, patting his back n' reminding him to breathe. he clung to her in a vv tight hug until it passed, which took quite a while, but gwen didn't mind. she wiped the sweat off his face n' smoothed back his matted hair from his forehead n' told him how proud she was of him for getting through it
