after gwen embarrassed max in front of everyone for having mr. honeynuts n' david found out (he probably didn't know how much mr. honeynuts meant to max, or really paid attention at all to the fact that gwen was holding a bear n' max was following her, plus he didn't see the campers laughing at max) he gave her the longest n' closest the angry as david can be lecture. he also made gwen apologize bc max wouldn't leave his tent for a day afterwards
