~TJ's POV~

I called the only person who I thought could help me in that moment. The same guy that helped me pull myself together after seeing the love of my life kiss someone else.

"H-hey Marty." I sniffles and coughed a bit. My lungs were burning from how quickly I ran with those heavy bags. Bags containing almost every I own.

"Hi TJ. You don't sound so good. What's wrong?" He asked tenderly.

"I got kicked out." I stated.

"Oh my god. Where are you?" Marty asked as I nervously fidgeted with my hoodie strings.

"A few blocks from my house." I looked to see if I could find a street sign, but my head was so foggy that I couldn't focus on all that much.

"I'll be there as soon as I can." He said and hung up.

I didn't even ask him to do anything, and here he was, on his way to save my sorry ass.

My feelings fluctuated between anger and sadness. I was finally out to my dad, but at what cost? Now Amber has to be careful around the house because who knows what'll happen. And, at the moment, I had no where to live.

I closed my eyes and leaned my head back as I tried to relax myself. At least I knew people had my back.

~Marty's POV~

I quickly hung up the phone and rushed downstairs to find my mom. I was going to ask her if we could pick up TJ considering his current situation. After practically falling down most of the stairs to get to the living room, I found my mom.

"Is everything alright, honey?" She asked sweetly.

"Can you take me to pick up TJ h-"

"This is why you need to get your licen-"

"Mom! Now isn't the time. TJ got kicked out." I never usually cut my mom off, but this was important. A friend was in need.

"O-okay!" She was surprised.

We quickly rushed to the car and she pulled out of our driveway.

"Do you know why he was kicked out?" She asked while continuing toward TJ's house. We figured we'd find him if we stayed near that area.

"His dad is homophobic, so I guess somehow it got to Mr. Kippen that TJ was gay." My hands were now shaking because I was scared for my friend.

We spotted TJ on a bench with two bags next to him. He had his head in his hands, but he slowly looked up as he heard our car approaching. I looked at my mom.

She looked shaken to the core. The heartbreak in her eyes was intense. She was feeling for TJ. A mother's heart is always the largest.

I got out of the car to quickly comfort TJ.

"Marty." He breathed with a smile.

"Hey Teej. We're here for you." I hugged him from the side as I sat down and patted his back.

My mom got out of the car and rush to hug him too.

"I'm so sorry sweetheart. You don't deserve to be treated like this." She spoke with such tender comfort.

"Thank you. Mrs. Wilson." TJ smiled.

"Alright let's get your stuff in the car." I said as my mom and I grabbed his bags.

We put them in the trunk as TJ climbed into the back seat. He looked so broken. I wanted to make sure that he felt safe with my family.

Telling my dad would be hit or miss, but he would never put someone out on the street. Especially someone as nice as TJ. My dad just might be angry at how someone could be so evil to kick their own son out of the house because they're gay.
